McDonald's — Restaurant in Fort Oglethorpe

Went here on March 20 at 4:20 and of course there was a long line in the drive thur, so my sister-in-law went in to get our food. It just went down hill! Worst customer service in the whole city of Fort Oglethorpe!! My sister waited for 20 minutes for our food and then the guy was trying to be “nice” and offer a “free” chicken sandwich. She finally came to the car and we went home, we opened up our food and her hamburger was missing the patty!! Who does that? And we looked on the receipt and she was charge that free chicken sandwich!!!! So I call the store didn’t get an answer, so I called again and some little Punk teenager answer And I had to ask if this was the McDonald’s! So I asked to speak to a manager and the teenager said yeah you talking to him. So I was telling him what had happened and the only thing he said was I’m sorry and hung up on me!!! I wasn’t even done talking to him I wanted to know if could come back and he can fix the problem So I called back! I called back 12 times!!!!!!! No one would answer!!!!!! Oh and some how when I was calling, my call got redirected to McDonald’s in Dalton! Talked to the manager named Richard. I told him want had happen and asked him what can I do. And he asked me if she ate the chicken sandwich, which she did and Richard told me that the best we can do is just replace the patty since you ate the food we can give your money back! This awful! So I called the corporate number and waited on the line for 10 minutes just to talk to someone, but no. No one would answer there! I will never go there again Just horrible I wouldn’t even give them...

Extremely poor customer service!

Fries are ALWAYS served cold! Very bad service from all but 2 staff members, the 2 I am talking about are night staff, they are very professional and WILL serve HOT fries! A night manager threw a hissy fit at staff members and customers, I had asked for a drink and had the cup practically thrown at me, and then she marched off back into the kitchen area. We were waiting almost 35 minutes for our order. And then looking down her nose with a clearly bad attitude towards everybody around. That particular manager was extremely unprofessional! Earlie today different staff, ordered food and beverage, took a very long time for it to be served to us . And there were not that many customers! We eventually received our food order, and a female staff member literally slammed our food down on the country, did not check the order, and walked off before we could ask where our beverage was. She did the exact same thing to another customer, too. Both the other customer and I had also asked where our beverages were and were ignored for a while before we got someone's attention again. Then, we were still kept waiting for it for about 15 minutes! Now certainly WILL NOT be going back in the daytime for anything, as I will be taking my custom elsewhere, night time i may if those 2 guys are working that night, otherwise I will be hoping my way back out of there! Best service from those 2 guys, but EXTREMELY bad service...

The Ft Oglethorpe McDonalds has the worst service I have ever seen. Each car that comes to the ordering box will spend 5 minutes before being addressed. I not only have experience waiting 20 minutes to get window 1 were you pay, but I have sat in the parking lot observing the same exact timing for others. Also observing that 1 out 4 cars pull away because of the excessive amounts of time just to have your order taken. I realize how many students are running the restaurant but means they are being poorly trained and supervise. I have held off making a complaint for the last three years. I go out of my way not to go to the Ft. Oglethorpe McDonnalds because of the poor service. Spending 20 minutes in line when you are car number 4 is rediculous. You may have a large amount of customer but mostly because you are directly from the High School ,grammar school and next to the Walmart. Just think how much more businesses you could have if your employees had been probably trained. On another note when I made my order I asked for a 1 Qtr pounder with cheese. The cashier then responded "you want extra " - I want just just one qtr pounder with cheese as it it's written on the board as it is called. Cashier even more confused asked "you mean plain with just cheese". This line of conversation continued. She had no understanding of the menu of understanding the language even though she was white...
