The bathroom was clean and was properly stocked with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels (enough for the use of my party at least—I didn’t notice if there were extra toilet rolls or paper towels available). I appreciated that there was a step stool for my four-year-old to use. Even the corner of the counter had been cut to a 45-degree angle to afford more space for traffic in the ladies’ room and to prevent bruised hips! There were many people waiting on food when I entered the restroom, as well as multiple lines of cars outside (it was around 1 p.m. on a Thursday), but by the time I came out of the restroom, all orders for those waiting inside had apparently been filled since it was suddenly empty. I had zero wait time! The cashier listened well, and I didn’t have to repeat anything. She did seek clarification when I said I wanted two kid’s nugget meals that I wanted fried nuggets and french fries rather than grilled nuggets and some other side. I asked for a milk shake to split between my two sons and an extra cup and lid for that purpose. She wasn’t sure how to ring it up “properly” but figured out a work-around herself, without help, of coupling the milkshake to one meal and a water to another. I was pleased when she didn’t give me the extra water that I didn’t want but simply used it as a placeholder. She even put two cherries on the milkshake since she knew I was splitting it. When another server handed me my food (to go), he asked if I had straws and grabbed some for me, even though they were only a few feet away from us. It was very kind. Service like this is why Chick-fil-A is thriving—and why I am a happy customer!...
Read moreHow can you not love this place. Every Chick-fil-A location I have been to has top tier service and food.
Just want to add how often I see management working outside with the rest of the staff. It is encouraging to see leadership outside in the elements along with the rest.
The service at this location should set the standard for all businesses instead of being exceptional.
Update April 2024: It would seem the playground is gone. A devastating blow to parents of the area. One less place to play inside. One less family friendly location. What's so family friendly now? Taco Bell has that vibe. Five Guys has that vibe. Whatever answers you can give me another restaurant has that vibe. I don't think there's a playground left in Fort Smith. Pretty sure VB has them at the McDonald's and Burger King.
Do you know how amazing it is as a parent to let your child go run wild and play while I can eat at a civilized pace? This was the best part of CFA over any other place. I'm still gonna shop here. The food is great. The service is still excellent. I'm just disappointed and the next time my 5 year olds and I go I'm gonna have to explain it to them and they are gonna break down sobbing. Yea it's part of life and they will learn but I have to deal with that. I'm gonna let them express their emotions to the fullest so they won't have any unresolved issues to deal with later. Hopefully the next time they have a better lid on their crushing...
Read moreUsually the line at the drive thru is crazy long, but today it seemed reasonable (really though, they need to let customers come back in the store). Despite the not-so-long looking drive-thru line, we decided to order off the app for curbside pick up. Although it wasn't very clear when we entered the parking lot (which is the worst parking lot design I've ever seen...but that's not Chick-fil-A's fault) where the curbside pick up spot was, we figured it out. They just seemed a little slow to bring it my order (just two meal deals), we probably could have gone thru the drive-thru twice in the time it took them to get our order. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if there were some kind of shade or something where the curbside pick up is. At 1:00-2:00 in the afternoon the sun shines right onto the drivers side of any vehicle that's parked facing the store. I suppose if I only had to wait a few minutes it wouldn't have been so bad, but sitting there for a good 10 minutes or more on a calm sunny day while watching people fly thru the drive-thru was a little annoying. Plus, the guy had to go back for straws (we got 2 drinks with our meals, why wouldn't we want straws?) and there were no additional condiments in our bag for our fries even though I requested them on the app when I placed my order. And why didn't the lady who pulled in at least 5 minutes after we did have to wait? Her order was basically delivered at the same...
