So sad to give a negative review, given past positive experiences with Holy Land's former brick and mortar location. Unfortunately my past expectations didn't translate well to the MSP location. Even by airport standards, my experience was awful and I do not recommend.
GOOD: Nothing. Though I guess the service can be friendly if you are lucky enough to visit when they are adequately staffed.
BAD: So many disappointments.
I actually made two attempts to order from Holy Land at MSP. My first attempt was when I arrived in town. I knew that by the time I got to my hotel it would be too late to find lunch, so I attempted to order from Holy Land, as it was near my gate. But their setup was so confusing at the time I had to give up. The staff at the counter would not take any orders, instead directing customers to order from the takeout hamburger counter next door (which uses the same kitchen) -- but only after several minutes of awkward eye contact. Myself and the others in line did go to the other counter, but there was no one there to take orders. After about ten minutes, I gave up and left.
My second attempt was on the way out of town, when again my gate was in the E concourse. I ordered what turned out to be the worst spinach cheese pie of my life. It looked and tasted awful - I wish I had taken a photo. What I was served was completely flavorless spinach inside of damp slices of bread, with just a bit of sauce on top. Cheese was served on the side, with some sad tomatoes and cucumbers. I could not decide if I was sad or angry. What happened to Holy Land?
DO NOT EAT HERE unless you can handle...

Did not know there was a seating option for Holy land, it looked like the red cow's seating only, so I walked up to the Holy Land kiosk to order.
Order taker was not friendly, she just wanted me to order and get the hell out of the way attitude, while there was no one behind me. So I ordered and she handed me a number. She should have informed me that I can have a seat and a server would have served me.. nope. She just told me to listen for the number to be called. Shady start to the experience.
I ordered a chkn shawrma wrap, $12.35. Pricey but expected at any airport, so not a shock but fine for an airport. However, the wrap itself was disappointing. Waaaaaayyy too much sauce, there was oil leaking out of the foil before I could even open the wrap. It was a messy wrap, I did not enjoy it. The chicken meat seemed fried as opposed to the regular rotisserie cooked meat, tasted of way too much garlic, and some of the meat was pink (not sure if it was undercooked or too much seasoning). The pita was fine aside from being soggy, and the size of the wrap was also fine.
The servers in the seating area were friendly, one of them even cleaned the table before I would sit, without me asking her to.
I gave this a 1-star because this location does not live up to the holy land standard that I'm used to at the central ave location. If anything this location is probably giving the brand a bad rep. Come on Holy Land step your game up at...
Read moreI bought food from here and the food had hair in it. I have not noticed until an hour later because I decided on eating on the plane. Once our flight got delayed o started eating it and noticed hair in my food. I then went back and talking to the owner/manager he was very rude and told me what do you want me to do about it. This is not a way to run a business especially a restaurant. He told me you bought this a hour ago and I told him indeed I have and didn’t start eating it til now. He refused to do anything about it I threw away food that I paid over $23. Very disappointed in the...
