UPDATE 2/25/22: Thought I should update my review. Since my last reviews, ownership and management of this location have changed. What a difference effective management makes! My recent experiences have been very positive. From the eagerness of the cashier to take orders to the food coming out hot and fresh, everything has changed! The only complaint I have is the music. This location used to play Christian music and now they play an easy-listening mix.
Today's visit wasn't that great. Ordered the $5 Biggie Bag with spicy nuggets. My sandwich was luke warm and my nuggets were not spicy. The tax was charged incorrectly on my order and when I questioned the cashier, he didn't act like he even knew what I was talking about. The young manager-looking guy stepped in and told me the tax was correct, that they changed it in September and had to pay a bunch out of the company's pocket because they didn't change it at the correct time. The problem is our tax is 7%, NOT 8% as they are charging. The fellow even argued with me about it. How many customers have you defrauded by charging the extra 1%? That's a bad business practice! Won't be back unless/until it is corrected. Update 12/13/19: so today makes my 3rd visit since I posted my review. They fixed the tax issue. However, the food is hit or miss. Sadly, they seem to miss more than they hit. Out of four recent visits, I received hot food ONE TIME! Just not pleased at all with the quality...
Read moreThere's nothing spectacular about Wendy's. It's not terrible but it's not memorable either. It's just something you eat in between other things. I think the last thing I had from there that made me say wow this is really good was the pub chicken sandwich. Ever since they switched to the freestyle machines the drinks have not tasted at all like they're supposed to. I think my main problem though is how bad the tea tastes. They don't ever put enough sugar in it. I could overlook how mediocre the food was if the tea wasn't so bad but this is the South. It tastes like somebody thought about putting sugar in it over it. I ate only the chicken sandwiches there for over a decade and never tried the hamburgers and then one day earlier this year I decided to. McDonald's tastes better. And I don't mean the high end ones. I mean the double cheeseburgers. They're more juicy and not dried out. Maybe Wendy's could take note of what ever McDonald's is doing and improve on it or at least emulate it. The staff are always nice but honestly I'd rather have food that tastes good instead of perfectly...
Read moreI joined the 13 person line at 12:50 in the afternoon. Only one person on the register. It looked like two managers were working the prep lines. One manager had plenty of time to tell us the what we were waiting for was going to be good. Then a few minutes later she came up front to taunt us again. She cheered "When I say Wen you say Dy's." Not a word from any of us. We felt stupid for waiting in the line for so long. I asked her to open a second register but she said there were not enough employees on shift. The other manager barely had work to do because the young lady on the register was taking only one order at a time. The manager told the girl to take 2 or 3 orders at a time so we would know it was not the manager we were waiting on. I think she should have come to the register to help out. She could have worked the prep line and the register at the pace they were going. Six people walked out while I was in line for 18 minutes.
My salad had a lot of brown lettuce and even though its on the menu as a caesar salad they no longer carry the...
