Pho Eva — Restaurant in Florida

Was my first time at Pho Eva and also my first experience with Vietnamese food. I had a real nice overall experience here, and the food definitely makes up for any hiccups that I had. The restaurant has a nice and comfortable atmosphere and staff was friendly and helpful. The only things preventing me from giving 5 stars was that we had a fairly longer wait time before someone waited on us after initially being seated and they failed to bring out my appetizer I ordered. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. For the rest of the time after first being helped the wait staff was very attentive and helpful. The food came out very quickly and as I said earlier the food makes up for any minor hiccups. I order the classic bahn mi and a steak and brisket pho. Both the sandwich and the pho tasted amazing. The sandwich was well put together with nice fresh bread and fresh quality ingredients. I ordered a "small" pho and it was by no means small whatsoever. The broth was rich, delightful, and oh so tasty. Just like leftover milk from your cereal, you want to pick up that bowl and drink all the leftover broth! After receiving the sandwich and the pho I was actually kinda thankful I didn't receive my appetizer as it would of been way too much food. Everything tasted amazing to the point where you want to finish it all, and has made me a lover of Bahn Mi sandwiches and Pho. I will definitely be coming back for more and would recommend Pho Eva to anyone looking for some terrific...

I went here for the first time bc ive heard really good things. Unfortunately, i have to give them a one star rating for the terrible service. First off, the food is excellent. I ordered water, summer rolls and the Pho Eva dish. Delicious.

It was a Sunday at 10:30am and there was a decent amount of people there. I came to the conclusion, these people were regulars considering how they were treated compared to me and my partner who were just some randos off the street.

Im a pretty fair judge and from someone who has worked in the food industry, i understand how hectic it can be trying to run a bunch of tables on a busy day - i get it - you can get behind. BUT, i watched the owner and the servers converse with their regular tables and not even acknowledge us once or even come to check on us since we put in our order.

We sat there for an extra 30 min needing a refill on our water while they tended to other tables and conversed with them and didnt even bother to check on us.

We were there from 10:30am til damn near 12pm before we were acknowledged by anyone. That is just terrible service, which is sad bc i really enjoyed their food and wanted to give a good rating.

Until their service improves, i will not be returning. Please do better on checking on your customers. I am a very good tipper, but not when the...

So disappointed! Quality and service have taken a nosedive! Charged full $50 with no sympathy or attempt for resolution, and went home hungry! The chicken on the banh mi was dry, rubbery and smelled positively rancid, the sandwich was also missing the egg we ordered. The pork on the vermicelli noodle bowl was also dry like it had been prepared hastily and left out a long time. All of the meat served was shockingly disappointing. The iced tea was sad, but even worse, the ice water had no business being served to anyone EVER. It tasted as bad as the bathroom smelled. And no, the slice of lemon could not disguise its putrescence, it was downright undrinkable. And their snarky response saying, "We don't make the water," is not an appropriate response to any anyone, let alone a concerned, formerly repeat customer. Then, to be told perhaps COVID is why things taste poorly to me because it can affect my taste and smell... EXCUSE ME WHAT? The unmasked employee then told me that he has had COVID-19 and that he lost his sense of taste and smell... well that could certainly explain why YOU, are unable to recognize foul things, but I assure you, some of us still can. And if you were wondering if customers can smell the cigarette smoke in the bathroom hallway, the answer is a resounding yes....
