Overall, I would recommend Hoshi Hoshi to anyone except older people, those new to boba, and those who struggle to decide.
This review has been updated since their opening term.
The menu needs to be updated into once concise menu. There is there are so many papers and signs everywhere inside and outside. The interior has been changed to the point there isn't as much seating as used to now. There isn't napkins available either. I had to ask for one when my drink had overdilled boba by a vit that was leaking onto their table.
My favorite drinks are strawberry milk tea, manho sticky rice frappe, and fire coffee. My favorite topping is popping mango. I absolutely love Hokkaido milk itself so I think anyone nearby and in Fort Wayne should try! The coffee is good for those who want to step more than the American sweet coffee. I got the pang coffee. It was super good. The pang pang is a bit much on its own. Its crispy and sugar is great, but it can be overwhelming so I'd recommend only getting it as a topping. I would recommend mango flavor for someone preferring a sweet drink, especially the sticky rice. The Choco Caramel fresh milk tastes exactly like chocolate milk. The other drinks and toppings provide the same expected taste of their name. I donât think anyone will find a similar drink to strawberry milk tea from Hoshi Hoshi anywhere else. It is truly a unique taste. The jam doesn't mix well sometimes.
The prices have been increasing and before other locations their $8-10 drinks with tax was starting at first. There isn't as much boba compared to the initial amounts of...

I've been to nearly every Boba tea shop (shop that sells boba) in fort wayne: Bubble Bee, Bahn Mi, Kim Vu, Kung Fu, etc.) And Hoshi Hoshi is STILL my #1 for tapioca texture and flavor.
The family that runs it is super sweet and they recognize me since I started going there around when they first opened.
I work at Amazon and the only time I'm that far south is when I'm on my way to or from work. Stopping there is like a little treat for myself.
They also have some of the cheapest Boba around, (usually $7.25 after tax), some of their more fancy drinks are around 9.25.
they have lots of topping beside traditional Boba like popping, jellie, cheese, and pudding.
My favorites are honey milk tea, classic milk tea, choco milk tea, and coffee milk tea. They have like, over 20 flavors but I keep going back to my favorites đ€Ł.
One time I didn't work for over a week and when I showed up they were like, "where were you!!" and I always get extra Boba and they been poking fun at me one time because I once ordered just a cup full of Boba with no drink and they thought I was so funny, but their tapioca is really just that good!
If you're in town,...
Read moreWe ordered a passion fruit soda with lychee popping belly (blended which was a $2 surcharge) and a strawberry Choco milk with strawberry popping boba. I really enjoyed my drink and thought it was very refreshing and tasty. My bf though had gotten strawberry jelly in his drink rather than the popping boba he ordered, he also said that it was warm for a drink with ice in it. Mistakes happen but for 2 drinks being $15 you really wish they don't happen at all. The younger woman at the counter was very friendly, but the service was incredibly slow. There was a six drink order in front of us and only two people working, so I can't blame them too much for that but I do hope they get more staffing. Waiting wouldn't have been too bad either if they had better seating and more than three tables. I'm pretty sure they are a new business, so I really hope they get to a place where they can hire more staff and get more comfortable seating. The atmosphere was cute with the Shiba Inu and the mural inside but I feel like all the menu item posters everywhere kinda downgraded it and kinda made ordering confusing cause I didn't really know where to look when trying to find...
