Currently standing in line on a Monday night. Bahama Bucks is the ONLY sno cone my son can have bc of food allergies. This is the second time in a month we’ve had terrible experiences. There were multiple customers who had already paid waiting for their order. We stood in line with 4 people in front of us. The three ladies working carried on conversations, bickering while one (with no sense of urgency made sno cones). I’ve always wondered why every time we’ve come the same tall, slender girl only stood around and didn’t help make sno cones. There are two machines. At one point the same tall, slender girl turned around and said it’s going to be another 30 minutes so if you don’t want to wait, … then trailed off without completing her sentence. Two people on front of us left. We’re still standing here 15 minutes later and the two in front of us haven’t even been helped. There are three girls here and two of them aren’t really doing anything. What a shame that I have to stand here bc it’s the only treat my son can have. I’ll definitely look for other options bc I understand being short staffed but the attitudes and laziness is definitely a sad sign of a lot of the work ethic. Can I also add that the girl making the sno cones touched her phone and her back pocket and everything else behind the counter with the same gloves she was wearing to touch and pack ice into cups. Still standing here and more people came in. “Hello, it’s going to be a 30 min wait” says the tall, slender girl. The girls making sno cones says maybe just 15. But here we are 25 min later and the two people in front of us still haven’t even had their order taken. These girls just want us...
Read moreI don’t post many 1 star reviews. As a matter of fact, I really don’t post any of them, I’ve done over 100 reviews and I think I only have one other and it was also well deserved. My girlfriend, her friend Emma, and myself decided we wanted dessert here over a week ago and came 10-15 minutes before their posted hour that they closed. We felt that was plenty of time for them to make us a snow cone and for us yo enjoy our night. We couldn’t have been more wrong in our lives. We walked up to the counter, ready to provide our orders and pay, only to be told by the guy at the counter that they were no longer accepting any orders for the evening and that they were closing. We mentioned that it was well within their closing hours listed but they proceeded to reiterate that they were no longer accepting any orders and that we would not be served. We felt offended and really disappointed with this lack of customer service and left to go across the walkway to Yogurtland at Montgomery Plaza - which closes at the exact same time - where we were promptly and courteously served as soon as we walked in the door. The treatment we received at Bahama Buck’s was extremely off-putting and honestly offensive and we won’t be back...
Read moreAs a west Texas girl I grew up on Bahama bucks so I was thrilled tonight when I realized there was one right down the street! Unfortunately the visit left much to be desired. First of all no greeting. We waited awhile and made eye contact multiple times with the three employees who were busy with closing up. It was 9:20 and not crazy busy. They managed to tell people bye but couldn't say hey I'll get to you in a second. When someone finally steps up to the register I said hiiii. Absolutely no response. My husband starts to order a strawberry freeze cake. "We're out of that. " Orders something else. We're out of that. Okay what are you out of so I can order something you have? "just that." Then attempts to order something else and again out. Multiple times my husband asked what they are out of so he can figure out what to order. After multiple vague answers of "just that" he gave up. I tried to order blue coconut and you guessed it. They were out. We settled on cotton candy for the kid (👍) As we're checking out the cashier laughs about being out of everything. Which would have saved everyone if we were told that from...
