The Mad Hatter Neighborhood Pub - Fort Worth — Restaurant in Fort Worth

It’s easy to lose track of time as you’re enjoying some brews in this Fort Worth dive bar. A couple friends and I were looking for a bar in the area to catch up and enjoy a lazy Sunday, and we decided to try this watering hole. It’s a vibe for sure.

The space is fairly narrow. There is some seating in the front of the bar, but most of the seating is at the long bar. There are dollar bills pinned up all along the walls with doodles and inscriptions on them. The bar is well lit, and the ambiance was electrifying. The bar itself is chill, but there were Sunday football games on (multiple games) and many people came out to watch their team. One guy even bought shots for the whole bar

There are plenty of beers on tap, as well as cans/bottles, and mixed drinks to choose from. The bartender had complimentary chips and crockpot queso to give a tailgating sort of vibe

The bartender was good. They were out of a couple beers, and a couple kegs had some issues, but all and all we were well taken care of

Came here with some friends and was treated terribly by the blonde bartender. She accused my best friend of having a fake ID, she’s 24 and it’s most definitely a real ID. Not only did she kick us out for her unknowledgeable assumption, but screamed and cussed at us in front of the entire pub. Contemplated calling the cops to come and verify the ID was in fact real but honestly didn’t wanna give a dime of our money to this company. Maybe invest in an ID scanner or teach your bartenders how to read them. We had a great time at the Irish bar next door instead, thankfully the night...

Solid little bar, cheap beers, great staff. The layout is interesting, being that it is a bar, with a standing area parallel to that, that is really just a counter running across the entirety of the bar. It makes for great standing space, but kind of crowds the walkway. Zach Rippey does a stand-up show every Tuesday night and that is the night to be there. The showcase of local talent is a sight to behold and the odd placement of the mic really allows for a lot of creativity I'm not used to seeing at such places. Definitely give it a look if...
