Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Food is standard mediocre Chili’s fare, but service at this location is sorely lacking. We were sat in the bar section which at the time wasn’t super busy. Our server did come out and take our orders quickly and we got our appetizer fast, but after that it took quite a while to get our entrees. And when they did come out my son’s order was incorrect. Our server was milling about but never came to check if our food was ok and we had to stop her as she was walking away from another table to ask for help correcting the messed up order. She walked away and never came back to our table. Several other servers were standing about watching the football game on the TVs and about 10mins after asking our server we had to flag down one of the other servers in the area to get help with our order. He was able to help, but by then it had taken so long that the food was cold and just not edible. My son ended up eating half my entree. Also, our drinks were left empty much of the time and I felt like I had to ration what I was given. I did get a refill after my drink had sat empty for 10+ mins and then I had to share half of the refill with my son because nobody came to refill his drink. Really not a great look when the restaurant is new and should be at its best. Not sure if we will be back honestly. Chili’s food is not good enough to suffer with...

There's way too much to write. I'm extremely disappointed with the service on Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't even busy. No tortillas for our fajitas for 30 mins, no silverware, and never got a refill. Server took the order and she never came back. I had to get up looking for tortillas and silverware. PLEASE enforce the 7 steps of service. I worked for this corporation, and I know the customer satisfaction is thier numer one priority. I worked in OTB for 7 years. The food was good as always, but the servers and the host/ hostess are the face of the FOH. The hostess was not friendly at all, she looked like she didn't want to be there. We were never greeted at all for about 10 minutes, but we waited because we were hungry. A family of 7 left because they didn't get greeted. The FOH is the one that brings customers back. The BOH is working hard, for the FOH to mess everything up. This store is nice, but we will never come back. I felt bad not leaving a tip, but we did get served. Visited on 12/17 with my husband, 3 year old, and 8 month old. The food was good, typical chilis. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere.

But the service from the moment we walked in the door was really disappointing. The seating hostess gave us multiple reasons for why we had to wait, which confused and frustrated us. We didn't mind waiting, but the restaurant wasn't terribly bus, and it seemed like there were a lot of staff standing around.

After a 15-minute wait, they offered us a table in the bar area. We asked to be seated somewhere else since we have young children with us, and it seemed like that annoyed the hostess.

Our server was nice but seemed distracted. Drink refills were very slow, and the managers didn't seem to be paying attention to what was going on in the dining room. My husband said the hostesses were glaring at us the whole time, and even the managers kept looking over at us.

Since the restaurant just opened, I'm hoping this will resolve itself after a few weeks. But it doesn't make us want to return to chilis...
