My husband and I visited this place about a month ago. It was very busy on our first visit the owners were both there but the friendliest people you would ever meet and the food was delicious. Today we visited for our second time it was around 4:30 pm and not very busy but lots of servers working. Our waitress was Kamila she came to the table and we asked her a question about the seafood she sad â I donât know I donât eat seafoodâ which is weird working at a all seafood establishment. I then asked her if the shrimp was deveined she replied â I donât know what youâre talking aboutâ so I asked for the manager who said yes it was. We ordered the king crab platter. When it came out it was hot we flagged our server down for several minutes before she stopped talking to other servers and came to the table we asked her for the utensils to cut open the king crab she walked away and walked to some servers and was showing them her nails. After a few minutes she came back to our table with a beer. I said we didnât ask for a beer we asked for utensils for our king crab. She walked away and went in the back area. After a few minutes my husband got up and asked another server for utensils he brought one to our table. When we saw our server again she asked us if we wanted the check I said no we just started eating but can we get another set of utensils so my husband and I didnât have to share and she said â but you already have oneâ I said I know but we would like 2 so we donât have to keep sharing it. She brought it to the table with our check. We paid for the check before letting the manager know how bad our experience was. The reason we paid first is because this place has wonderful seafood so we enjoyed that but the service was so bad that we will not be back. The manager apologized and said the server was new and she saw us getting up a lot and looking around so she kept getting our server. As a manager if you could tell a table was struggling with a new server you should have came yourself to...
Read moreWe went here as a group because somone told us about it. But the food was disappointing, and highly overrated for what we spent. The crawfish were overcooked and the tail meat was literally falling apart, the only flavor was on the shell itself. The shrimp was way overcooked, extremely firm, no bounce, no flavor to the meat at all. The potatoe tasted like it was just boiled to the side and then added in. The corn was mediocre, the sausage was okay. I ordered my bag extra, extra, eyes watering, nose sniffing spicy. It had no spice! All the seasoning and butter were at the bottom of the bag. Tossed it arpund like they said and still awful. My friend's daughter ordered crab legs and crawfish, regular, but instead got spicy. And my cousin ordered seafood gumbo. The menu stated it has sausage, shrimp and crab meat. When she recieved it, she had no crab, and was told the crab was in the "base," and her gumbo came in a to-go container and her rice in a plastic container, and the gumbo even with a side of seasoning (she had to ask for) was still bland. We spoke to management about the shrimp and their reasoning as to why the shrimp was overcooked was because "sometimes the shrimp with the head cooked differently and can be overcooked l, and that the ones without the head cook perfectly all the time." So, you mean to tell me that we should have gotten the shrimp without the head (at a cost of $2) to get perfectly cooked shrimp. Nah baby, someone back in the kitchen just doesn't understand cooking times when it comes to shrimp in general. Overall, the food experience was not it! And I will not suggest this place to anyone, who loves seafood. The only good things from our experience was the lemonade was good, oyster on the half shell was decent, and our server was fantastic. If you want some really good crawfish, shrimp, crab, heat and variety at half the cost, please go try Terrebonnes in west Fort Worth, down on Camp Bowie. But get...

EDIT: so previously I had given this place 5 stars, my husband and I have been several times but this last visit was terrible as far as customer service. The food was still good, but definitely didnât taste as good as it previously had. Our waitress forgot our calamari, no big deal but she looked at me when I asked her about it and said âoh, you didnât order anyâ.. okay but I did. Then when she brought us our crab/shrimp boil she informed us they were washing crab crackers and would bring us some when they were finished being washed, we had finished all of our shrimp, waited on her to come over and she asks if we need anything, I said yes please, donât crab crackers because we are down to just the legs and they are very difficult to eat without crackers. She told me she would check again and came back and said- we are out and donât have any, I asked to see the manager who proceeds to tell me they have absolutely no crab crackers in the restaurant at all and he could give me a fork, then proceeded to return with a plastic fork. Lol what am I gonna crack open using a plastic fork? The girl beside us was straight up cracking them open with her teeth.. the whole situation was comical and I am disappointed that my waitress lied and the manager appeared so arrogant and didnât seem to care that at a crab restaurant he had no crab crackers. Needless to say we were returning customers and will not be returning anymore⊠place used to always be busy on the weekends and we were there on a Friday and it definitely wasnât crowded at all.. hate to say but the place is...
