Sadly we can no longer support this establishment. We’ve been a DQ family for decades thanks to Stormy the ‘manager’ we no longer will be. Incredibly rude, unable to manage her staff, customer service, product availability and genuinely couldn’t care less about her customers. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Thankfully the warm and friendly staff at Braums down the road from them made sure to give us great service and a very warm welcome.
I did email you to the address provided.
Thank you for your reply to our review. Stormy seemed to believe that she had no superiors to answer to when I raised my concerns with her. Upon arrival I went to the freezers to get some ice cream boxes ( we usually pick up 4-6 boxes a week on avg) the freezers were almost empty so I asked if it was possible to get 12 ice cream sandwiches. The young cashier was very helpful said no problem they can make them up. So in total I had purchased $40 worth of icecream, paid and moved to the side to wait. Shortly after a Grubhub driver came in while I was waiting. As he came in Stormy was coming into the front complaining at the young cashier for using her employee card to discount another employees ordered food. The driver came in and politely said he was there to pick up an order Stormy literally ignored him and continued to be flustered and irritated with the employee. Her energy literally created a conversation between the driver and myself about customer service and her utter lack of interest in her customer standing right in front of her. As our conversation continued I noticed as Stormy was wrapping up she had a manager tag. I was very surprised considering her behaviour we had just witnessed so I asked You’re not the manager are you?’ To which she replies yes she was and I then said (remember she had already heard us customers discussing the poor service right in front of her) ‘As a manager you are setting a horrible example making an issue with your employee infront of your customers and failing to even acknowledge your customers is incredibly poor customer service’. She then made some flustered attempt of an excuse saying she had asked the employee if he had acknowledged the customer( none of heard her say anything other then to embarrass her employee) and stormed off to the back. The Grubhub driver and I continued to discuss it until his order was ready for pick up. So now about 10 minutes have passed since my order was to have been started. The young cashier had went to the back so I popped my head in the window to ask how many they had already finished( thinking I’ll just take what’s ready It was all taking so long ) the first girl said a couple but I could tell she wasn’t being honest so I asked specifically how many again she ignored me then a male employees says I’m just looking for cookies..... I wait a few more min the cashier comes back I say ok this is becoming a ridiculous wait for my icecream and the other boxes are sitting here melting so please see how many are ready I will take those and get going. He goes back comes back out none have been made to which I rely ok this is really not acceptable pls cancel the order and I will just take a refund. He says will have to get Stormy he comes back says she’s busy in the drive thru and it takes her a few minutes. She starts right away with a negative attitude and says things like she didn’t know they couldn’t find the products, she’s flustered and rude demands a receipt from me I never received and Gives me attitude I don’t have one. I tell her there’s only been one purchase before mine and she is still stroppy and I tell her flat out Her attitude is awful she’s going to loose good customers to which she scoffs at me. I tell her I’m sure the people you are accountable to won’t be happy she then says won’t matter we are a franchise. I say and you still have people you have to answer to and she says no not really. I said look just give me my refund and I will take our business to Braums and make sure you get to your boss before I...
Read moreI recently visited this new Dairy Queen location and wanted to share my experience. It is clear that this establishment is still in the process of figuring things out, but it shows great potential. While there were some areas that could use improvement, I appreciated the management's willingness to listen to feedback.
Firstly, I would like to address the customer service aspect. During my visit, I encountered some inconsistencies in the service provided. Some staff members were friendly and attentive, while others seemed inexperienced and unsure of their roles. It would be beneficial for the management to provide comprehensive training to ensure consistent and excellent customer service across the board.
Communication is another area that could be enhanced. There were instances where the staff seemed unaware of certain menu items or pricing details, leading to confusion. Clear and effective communication is essential to provide customers with accurate information and a seamless ordering experience.
Despite these areas needing improvement, I would like to commend the management for their openness to feedback. It is evident that they are receptive to suggestions and willing to make necessary changes. This proactive attitude is a positive sign for the future of this Dairy Queen location.
Overall, this Dairy Queen has the potential to become a great establishment with some adjustments. By focusing on improving customer service, enhancing communication among staff, and ensuring consistency, they can create a more enjoyable experience for their customers. I look forward to seeing the progress they make and would be happy to return once these improvements are...
Read moreI'm pulling up before 9:30 on a Sunday night on a Labor Day weekend. I sat in the drive-thru trying to get help ordering for a Favor. I'm not even ordering for myself it's for someone else. I sit there for over 5 minutes even honking my horn to get someone's attention and no one even bothers to come through on the speaker and tell me that they're closed. The front door is locked I tried going into the lobby. The guy I had to pull around to the drive-thru window and talk to someone at the window for them to tell me they're closed and they've already got everything shut down. And when I left there was four people in the drive-thru and they're not even bother to communicate with the people in the drive-through that they are closed for the night. Worst customer service I've ever received since I can ever remember. Not even worse customer service They didn't even attempt to try. I understand your clothes but if your clothes and you've got people outside wanting food or service you need to communicate that with your customers. Not ignore them. You can't ignore someone sitting outside in your drive through honking their horn multiple times trying to get your attention!!! It's unacceptable! I will not be going back to that dairy Queen. I would rather go to the one in Crowley and that one's a crap shoot. And that's...
