I took my girlfriend here for her bday dinner. We didn't wanna go to fancy but still wanted to go somewhere nice. We are celebrating later next month lol.

We were seated immediately in a nice booth near the kitchen. You could see everyone cooking. That was fun. The light was very low and kinda hard to see my menu. Me and the gf are both visually challenged in the dark haha. Other then that the atmosphere was nice. Our server was nice and polite and eager to help. He was very attentive to our requests and keeping our drinks filled.

We started with their famous candied bacon as well as the 1lb angry meatball. I was feeling hungry tonight so I wanted to start off with something filling rather then a salad. They ended up bringing the bacon before our drinks. The bacon was good. I think I'd rather just eat regular bacon but I can see the appeal. It was as if the bacon was already glazed in sweet syrup of sorts. It was good for a starter but I prob wont order it again. The meatball tho? That thing was delicious! I was skeptical if they were going to be able to keep a 1lb meatball light enough to be enjoyed and they nailed it. The sauce had a good spice to it, which is where the "angry" part comes in. It had a glob of ricotta cheese on it and came with 4 half slices of garlic bread. Thick cut Texas toast style. I decided to eat half and save room for our main course.

I got a burger cooked medium and it turned out great. I was looking for a straight forward burger and thats what I got. A burger cooked great and some fries. Cooked wonderfully and it was nice and juicey. My gf went with the flat iron cut 10oz Chimichurri Steak with sweet potato wedges. It was cooked a good med-rare and was seasoned very well. The chimichurri on top popped with that extra bit of flavor. It was her bday dinner so I pushed her to get the steak and she was very thankful I made the suggestion.

We ended the night with a slice of the cinnamon toast crunch Cheesecake. I've seen it on the menu a few other places so assumed it was a good choice. Although it was pretty good it was very heavy and thick. I'm glad we went with just one piece to share cause I wouldn't have been able to finish a whole piece to myself. We didn't even finish a whole one together.

All in all it was a good dinner. I'd def give this place a shot. There is a small menu but plenty of choices that look good. I'd def go back and try a few...

Had a very pleasant experience here a few nights ago. The wife, baby, and myself were promptly greeted and seated. Our drink orders were taken upon seating , and the seating waitress ( I believe Isabella ? Sorry if I’m wrong ! ) informed us that our actual waitress would come back and take our order. We browsed through the menu and decided on the chicken lettuce wrap starter.

About 8 minutes went by and the other waitress never came. By now we had also decided our entree . The girl that seated us - Isabella ? - noticed we were still waiting and sensed that we were becoming impatient. She apologized that the waitress for our section never came through and told us she would step up and take care of us . We placed our appetizer and entree order and she informed us that the appetizer would be waived off the total cost as an apology for the wait ! That’s customer service

Food - the chicken lettuce wrap starter is fantastic. Lettuce crisp and holds form , chicken well seasoned and the slaw type filling was delicious as well as the peanut sauce.

My wife ordered a crispy chicken sandwich which had a great panko style breading and was juicy and crispy with a tasty sauce and and slaw on top that complimented the sandwich .

I got the steak sandwich , which is not a thinly sliced steak , but actually a legitimate piece of filet served whole and cut in half . Despite this being a full piece of steak , it was so tender and easy to bite and melted in the mouth and texture was no issue. We both got regular fries as a side and they were very well seasoned .

We ordered the baby a side of hand cut sweet potato fries and those were some of the better sweet potato fries I’ve ever had .

All food was hot and fresh and delivered in a timely manner. Drinks were refilled promptly .

All in all despite initially being forgotten about this establishment more than made up for that with our wonderful waitresses service - big kudos for her for stepping up - as well as the quality of food.

I would definitely come here again and look forward to trying other...

I usually really enjoy eating at Doc B’s but my recent experience was very disappointing. This Friday we had a family member fly in and she was so excited to dine here again. We were sat in a side of the restaurant where the lights had gone out. We began our dining experience at 8pm when there was still light from outside and inside so not as noticeable. Our server was pleasant but as the night moved on, our table was literally in complete darkness. No mention of it from any of the staff at Doc B’s . There were four of us and we couldn’t see each other. I mean it was so dark, one of used our IPhone’s flashlight in the back of the table and another flashlight under the table to see each other and our food. I asked someone if they had a candle or something and they mentioned the lights went out from an electrical issue. That we could be moved to another table but that was offered after our food was at the table. I can understand using this table in the daytime, but not using it at night. We also had some items that were luke warm like the fries and my pasta. Good things: An angry meatball, jalapeño crispy potatoes, and lettuce wraps (those were delicious ). I ordered a Rigatoni pasta and replaced it with the crispy chicken. I was unpleasantly surprised with my pasta being on the side instead the usual big bowl with a side plate of a thinly dry chicken patty that was overcooked and warm at best. I had to ask for Mariana twice to warm up the Rigatoni and make it less dry. I thought the pasta and the app of the meatball came with garlic bread. Well my sad pasta did not. The presentation was sorry and I was disappointed. I just had higher expectations for our favorite restaurant. The food was a three because most of the food was good. The service is a three because I felt like no one was going to acknowledge the light unless I asked for a light at the table, and again it was only offered once we got our food. SMH. Felt like a...

My wife and I have been haunting the Fort Worth restaurant scene since we moved into the area and tonight we found Doc B's in Clearfork. We started with cocktails and the pour on my TX bourbon was extremely generous. Our waiter recommended the guacamole with sweet potato chips. I was skeptical, being a California transplant but I was not disappointed. This was the best guacamole I've ever had in Texas and I would have been stoked to get this in California,10/10. My wife and I like to split items and tonight we had the Cobb salad and our entree was the Special pasta, Giuseppe's coco linguine with shrimp (or something like that). I'm not usually raving over a salad but that Cobb salad was pure perfection from the dressing, lettuce, and all the way down to the darn croutons. Again 10/10 could not have been better . The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the shrimp were colossal and also cooked perfectly. With a light, creamy sauce, bacon, and sun dried tomatoes it was delicious. My granddaughter was our guest and she had the traditional hamburger (not a fan of cheese🤷) and it was big, juicy, and absolutely delicious as well. She had cucumber salad on the side and it was fresh and delicious as well. Our waiter Kaleo (Hope I got that right) was on the spot with everything and was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. He talked us into dessert so we split a slice of key lime pie that was obviously made fresh in the restaurant. I'm a fan of key lime so this really capped off the meal. Our meal was worth every penny and we can't wait to return to try the other items on the menu. The chef has really knocked it out of the park on everything we tried so I assume anything else on the menu will be just as delicious. I highly recommend you give it a try if you're around Clearfork area and looking for a great meal.
