I am giving Dutch’s Hamburgers a 2/5 star rating for their poor management and customer service. Tonight I finally decided to give this burger joint a try after living five years in Fort Worth. I viewed the menu and decided to purchase two orders of the Lineman burger with fries. I called the restaurant to put in the order and learned the total was $40.05 (at the time I thought I heard wrong). As I’m ready for pick-up I met a cashier - who was eating his burger while on the job (as to my knowledge restaurant workers are not to eat around their customers? But what am I supposed to know) - he confirms the total was $40.05, and I confronted him about the price when the burger on the website menu was $11.95. He strongly condemned me for being wrong and told me the owner just updated the website “VERY recently.” I brushed it off and pulled up the schedule again with Google Review in another tab to prepare to write a bad review. I brought my receipt and conflict to the attention of another employee who tried to condemn I was wrong because I was looking at the “Google Reviews” and go back to the restaurant’s website. As I did he walks off to my guess find the owner or manager, goes to another cash register then hands me a Dutch’s Hamburger brand gift card and said, “Here you go.” Mind you I checked the gift card to discover a balance of $8.00. I’m not petty about the money or the gift card amount, but as a customer I deserved an apology and the option for the team to say they made a mistake and hope, as a customer, I would give them another chance to make things right. Don’t get me wrong the food was really good I rather have excellent customer service and strong management that makes a business strong. At this point Dutch’s Hamburgers is a one-hit-wonder on my list of places to eat.

It's been at least seven years since I've visited Dutch's Hamburgers off of University near TCU. Everything is just as I remember it, including the parking situation. I walked in and ordered my food at the counter, choosing the Country-Fried Dutch, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. (Never skip the shake at Dutch's.) The onion rings have visible cracked peppercorns in a light, flaky batter. They're great on their own but they're even better dipped in the ranch. The shake is thick and creamy, but still manageable through the straw. I wouldn't change a thing about it. This sandwich is beautiful. The golden brown breading on the patty, the fresh garden, the lightly buttered toast for the bun. I even love the gravy. If you're here at the right time to get a parking spot or you happen to be attending TCU and need a lunch, this sandwich is a must-try. Over all, Dutch's Hamburgers is a must try for anyone sampling the cuisine around DFW, and can guarantee, even with a seven year lapse, the quality of their experience hasn't degraded. Their regular burgers are thick and juicy, their specialty items are amazing, and their service is always a treat. 5/5 If you would like to read more review about DFW's amazing local burger shops, look up BurgerByteDFW on Facebook or Instagram.

Dutch’s makes the most delicious burger in Fort Worth. This isn’t up for debate or critique. Over the past 5 years, I've scoured the city for the best burger, and guess what? It was right there waiting patiently for me right here at the corner of Berry and University. TCU students have no idea they're sitting on a goldmine of flavor. The buns are sweet and made in-house, like a the real bread of heaven. You can order your meat any way you want it—medium rare is my go-to. Every bite provides a spiritual revelation. Your taste buds will never be the same. Do yourself a fLavor and order the onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a milkshake. I swear, it feels like Jesus is back there in the kitchen, and I'm not talking about the guy married to Lupita. Dip your fries in the blue cheese dressing, and you'll transcend to a new plane of bliss.

These people are preying on college students!!!! They use LONE STAR TOWING TO STALK STUDENTS!!!! It's highway robbery, LITERALLY!!!! It's SICKENING!!!! How gross that you have them sit around with their trucks lined up to tow these kids cars who are trying to make it on their own and you're hoping they have rich parents to pay your bills!!!!!! You're disgusting!!! Not everyone has extra money and my kid was parked for 6 whole minutes at Dutch’s- she walked across to the next door bookstore to get her books to return to Dutch’s to study and eat and YALL had them TOW HER CAR!!!! For what?! They are now holding it hostage for $350 and told her it goes up $50 every 12 hours!!! I will be reporting this to CHANNEL 8 news and FOX and anyone who will listen!!! THESE ARE KIDS!!!! Some of which are Broke kids trying to better themselves

I get it if these kids are parking there for hours and going to class, but that was not the case and there should be a minimal stipulation before you do this. You should find out if it’s been there for maybe more than 30 minutes or if it looks like they’re not in their vehicle, but she had literally walked across, grabbed her books that were already ready for her at the counter and walked back, and her car was gone! Yes, we have timeline stamps to prove...
