Babysitting my celiac nephew & do not have a car seat to be able to go pick up his lunch so I ordered through door dash. I had to order the sandwich with gluten free bread because of my nephewâs allergy. I called and let them know the app did NOT give me the option to select gluten free bread. The girl was nice and said just select white bread and they would make sure it was gluten free (She mentioned no up charge). After I placed the order it had offered me a second free sandwich, so I called back to ask her if she could just make both GF. This time around she wasnât so kind. Iâm assuming her manager slapped her on the hand because this time i got âyeah I was just being niceâŚ. thereâs an up charge of $3 for this so my manager said I can do one but I canât do the other. The app gives you the option to select gluten freeâ. I reminded her that no, it did NOT give me the option. She then said âokay well we can do one but not the other thank youâ and hung up before I could get another word in. I absolutely do not mind paying additional for gluten free bread, as I said she did not mention an up charge this first call, so itâs not like I was just being greedy; I had no idea it cost more. But either way, when youâre offering your food through a delivery service and it doesnât give me the option to select a special type of bread at an up charge, either fix the issue so I CAN gladly pay for it, or just make both orders gluten free seeing how I had no option to pay for this up chargeâŚ.that only seems fair to me. Youâd think theyâd be a little more understanding in a situation like this to accommodate. But it seemed more like they felt like I was lying that it didnât give me the option. RUN!. got the New York steamer large. Start from the beginning. Walked in and silence, like death silence. Freaky! I walk to the order stand and the guy looks at me like I'm an alien. He finally asked if I wanted to order. Um yeah I do. I order the sandwich not knowing that it will arrive to me on a old roll and dripping with mayo. I mean I'm cool with mayo but when it is pouring out, enough is enough. I scrapped off as much as I could. I also being new did not understand the sandwich would be $14 and that u need to order my toppings separately. It was obvious I was not a regular and the irritated order taker was not going to go above and beyond to explain it. I waited almost 15 min for the sandwich to come out of the "kitchen" .    Read moreNEW UPDATE FOR 2025: Of the 3 sandwiches order, 1 was correct. NO tomatoes and NO onion are pretty simple instructions. Do not toast bread also very simple. So another meal wasted due to inability to read. Correction the staff informed me it is the system that fails. Might wanna fix the system. Moral of interaction, don't order online.
Update: I must review again. All I wanted today was a sandwich, sounds simple. The order was read to the cashier from a text message, for accuracy. I CANNOT eat tomatoes. So when a sandwich is ordered with NO TOMATOES, that's what you expect since it's a consumable I pay for. Maybe I should have checked my order, or maybe they should listen. Over the past year every order I have received has been incorrect in some manner. Tomatoes added when asked not to, no condiments, extra lettuce when asked for light, hot sandwich when requested cold. It's a never ending problem. So my lunch is in the trash and I would recommend that others check their order. There is obviously a communication issue or just a lack of caring at this location.
