Dining in is a problem for the kitchen. I placed an order for chicken quesadillas to be in side dining. The people are the counter register were fantastic, but when I went to pick up my food it was placed in a to go box, even though the receipt clearly said it was dine in. I asked the gentleman with the mustache to please place it in a plate because it was a dine in order. The younger kitchen worker started to place it on a plate and he instructed him not to. I asked politely if I could have it on the plate because it was a dine in order and he said no. I said are you telling me I have do it myself and he said yes and pointed to a plate on the kitchen line. I said really and he said yes, even though my receipt clearly said and stamped dine in. I've never had this level of service at any Fuzzy's around the Metroplex including those in Arlington and Irving and I've been to this one multiple times and this was very disappointing that the backend kitchen service ruined my experience.
The very polite assistant manager said this was not the first time they've had complaints on this same gentleman and recommended that I complain upwards. If that level of service is a known commodity of the kitchen person who is the last point of contact for customers, then tyouhey should not be working for this organization. This store lost my future business and I question General Manager, Shawn Placencia's, judgment in keeping this employee as a face of the organization, even though his manager's have said they have forwarded complaints on this same employee from customers without action taken to adequately address basic customer service standards of business. Cashiers and managers should not have to explain that they've complained numerous times about an employee's poor service without any action being taken by the general manager who this was reported to previously. Failure to address poor service by a general manager is a kin to accepting poor service as an acceptable standard for your business operation. A copy of this message will be forwarded to the corporate offices of Fuzzy's Tacos...
Read moreI love this location. Food is always good. Service is great. And today especially.. I finished my lunch there (love their ground beef taco salad) and walked outside to go to my car, I had parked in the back. This guy, came up to me as I was approaching the corner (leaving). he looked really scruffy, no teeth and said hey do you have any money and I said “no I don’t have anything, no money, sorry” thinking that’d be the end of it but he didn’t take no though and proceeded to get up really close to me and was like “common I know you do, common now”..giving me this really intimidating posture..Like I don’t know if I was over reacting but I didn’t want him to follow me to the secluded parking lot in the back where my car was which seemed like he might ..and it scared the heck out of me..So I did a quick U turn and popped right into the door they have near the kitchen side.. I told the head cook ( very tall, dark hair, shorthaired guy) just that there was a guy out here asking for money..he immediately drops what he’s doing, comes around the counter, goes outside and immediately finds the guy, right outside the door. The Manager saw what happened and followed to go outside. The manager walked me to my car, and the Head cook was talking to the guy keeping him put. I was so grateful that they immediately took action and made sure I got safely to my car. As I was pulling out I saw they had gotten that guy a soda and were watching him to make sure he left which I feel was the right thing to do. Stand up people that work here. I can’t thank them enough. I’m a regular here, my family and friends as well.. and I’ll be back.. probably tomorrow...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now but I have not had such a terrible experience like I have recently. First off, I had to wait a good ten minutes before I was served just to realize that the short little Hispanic cashier was behind the register the whole time but was sitting in a chair up front on her phone. i don’t know if she was having and off time but she was very rude, quick to the point and made me feel rushed when I was ordering. The dining area was dirty with plates and trash everywhere. The cooks looked angry like they didn’t want to be there and my potatoes were not fresh at all. It seemed slow enough for the lazy cashier up front to pick up plates but she just sat up front on her phone the whole time. I feel like this place has been going downhill because with each visit it just gets worse. The only good thing about my visit was when I finally saw someone cleaning up tables and asked how I was doing. Didn’t quite catch her name but she was Hispanic as well but definitely wasn’t the cashier who took my order although I did notice her pretty blue eyes. I remember coming here during my TCU days and it’s really sad to come back after all these years to such poor service and mediocre food. They need more friendly attentive people upfront and just need to work on their...
