I stopped by this newly opened Japanese restaurant, and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern Japanese touch that makes it perfect for both a casual dinner and a night out.
The food menu is built around small plates, yakitori skewers, and shareable dishes rather than ramen, and everything I tried was spot-on. The teriyaki fried chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, the yakitori skewers were juicy and well-seasoned. I also enjoyed the grilled yellowtail with teriyaki sauce, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. Portions are just right for mixing and matching, making it easy to try different flavors.
One of the highlights of the night was definitely the cocktails. They have a creative cocktail menu that pairs perfectly with the food. The drinks were refreshing, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted, which really elevated the dining experience.
The service was just as impressive—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being overbearing. For a brand-new spot, everything felt smooth and polished.
Overall, this restaurant is already a standout. Great food, amazing cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely a place I’ll be revisiting and...
Read moreIt was my first time trying this place, and I had heard good reviews, so I decided to give this place a chance. We were greeted upon arrival and were seated almost immediately. Our initial server was kind and friendly. However, after placing our first order which took over 20mins we were a bit confused since the other tables around us were almost immediately being given their orders soon after placing. It seemed as though everyone else was being prioritized. Nonetheless, we stayed and kept waiting because we did want to try more items off of the menu. Our waiter even came by and immediately told us to wait because she had to help another table. It took almost another 5-10 mins until she got back to us, and at that point the inconsistent service and wait time wasn’t worth it so we left disappointed. The few items we did try were good however for the overall price, ambience, and service I much rather go to Wabi House. You can find similar items with bigger portion size and more bang for your buck. This wasn’t the worse experience I had, but for all of the hype that was given by peers I wouldn’t say it lived up to my...
Read moreWe had a very good time here for dinner. The takoyaki, beef yakiniku, and chicken karaage were very delicious and probably the best we have had. This place has become a new favorite of ours. We felt like the price was fair for the amount of food we got and the quality of it.
The atmosphere was very nice too and we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for a seat. It looked like it was getting busier as the night went on though so best to come early. The place was also out of a few options that we wanted to try. Service was a bit slow, but that's to be expected for a soft opening of a new restaurant. Anytime we had to wait or a mistake was made the servers apologized so it's all good. We will definitely return to try some of the other items we...
