First time Mooyah customer here via GrubHub... Our order was placed at 3:30pm.
Food was started at 3:33ish per received text (see text picture) and delivered at 5:25pm (see text picture) after several updates by GrubHub!!!
Food received was cold, burger bottom was mush (see pictures, the brown near the burger was a soggy fried onion), I could not even see the roll bottom cause it was so wet. One could not pick it up like a burger to eat. Sweet potato fries were very cold and limp.
For my grandson, grilled cheese made w round bread (nice touch!) was hard & cold like a hockey puck. Chocolate milk for grandson was warm.
At 4:50pm I called Mooyah and spoke to manager named Derrick Anderson to say watching the tracking online, looks like GrubHub was having a hard time finding a driver... I asked when they made my meal. He said they make GrubHub orders as soon as he received the order at 3:33.
I asked Derrick if they could possibly remake the order since it was sitting for an hour and 20 minutes at this point. He first said no, but after convincing him I spent over $32 for this meal and it was going to be cold, he said he would.
We received the meal at 5:25 and it had to be the original meal described above. There's no way in 15 minutes from when the driver picked up and delivered the meal, the meal could become that cold, limp, soggy and hard. No way.
It's TERRIBLE Derrick Anderson that you could tell us a lie and say that food was fresh because it was not. It could not get that spoiled, soggy and cold in a 15 minute drive. This food sat there for an hour and 50 minutes, start to delivery.
Grubhub too, would not refund this bad meal since they kept changing the delivery time, so in their eyes it was on time.
Terrible way to do business Derrick Anderson! You could have made this right and redo the order.
This is a terrible way to represent Mooyah Derrick, especially for a first time buyer. I will not take a...
Read moreHAIR IN MY BURGER, I go to MOOYAH Burger first time being there. I ordered the vegetarian burger, I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding my recent experience at your [9604 old Denton rd suite 108,Fort Worth tx,76244] restaurant on [05/07/2025]. After a 45-minute drive, I discovered a long hair in my vegetarian burger. This was not only incredibly unappetizing but also raised serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices within your establishment.
Following this discovery, I contacted the restaurant to request a refund and some form of compensation for the inconvenience and potential health risks associated with consuming contaminated food. I was disheartened and frankly, shocked, by the dismissive response I received. The lack of acknowledgement of my concerns and the apparent disregard for my wellbeing left me feeling deeply undervalued as a customer.
My expectation when dining at a restaurant, particularly one with a reputation like Mooyah’s, is a commitment to food quality and a clean, safe environment. Finding a hair in my meal suggests a significant lapse in these essential areas. This experience has severely impacted my trust in your brand. It has also caused me considerable distress and wasted my valuable time and fuel.
Therefore, I again request a full refund for the price of my meal, and a remake of my burger. Beyond the monetary compensation, I believe a more thorough investigation into your food preparation and hygiene protocols is necessary to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and address the issues I’ve...

Now, i won't go into French Fries too much, because honestly, I'm not a big potato eater. It's an unfair view but I thought I'd swing them anyway. They are thick, salty and delightful with a milkshake, dip 'em like a Frosty. That's all I got 👍
The Burger.. i got the queso one because who can go wrong with a bunch of cheese, am I right? Anyway, OOOOH MY FAT ROLLS. I got to my destination and SHAMELESSLY stuffed my face (after the first bite) in my vehicle as I'm waiting around. The only thing I really couldn't get enough of... was the queso. Honestly, the queso wasn't too spicy, but the creamy-ness queso and hint of heat from the jalepeños and queso was far better than expected. (Not that I expected it to be bad- I just dont hold too high of hopes when I try new places anymore) on a "spice" level, without jalepeños on the burger, the queso is most definitely kid friendly. A little heat with a nice feel.
The three gentlemen there were really really nice, made my food swiftly and had me out the door before I knew it.
My only wish as I write this, is more of their strawberry milkshakes and that queso. Also... i don't suggest eating Mooyah in your vehicle, as fun as it was, I may hang inside with the guys next time. Hope this helps anyone who is wondering if they should or shouldn't do mooyah. I suggest.. do it. Even just once. Go in, sit down, and be merry....
