4 years later:: I came later on a Thursday and wanted the black and green set, it’s acrylic and Tam is the best!!! The gold flakes and marble was unexpected!! Original:: My first visit I was convinced into getting dip full set vs acrylic. It was great, I got great advice also to not have lotion on my hands/nails before getting nail service. It lasted just a few days short of a month but 2 nails had popped off about 3 weeks in. My 2nd visit, I wanted to get the dip again but opted for the acrylic full set instead. I’m not sure if one of the guys was just starting or just having a bad day..he messed up on the lady’s nails next to me. My nail tech decided to switch clients to help him out and save face for the business and he was to finish off buffing my nails, and adding tips. He didn’t buff any of my nails and used wayyy too much nail glue in the tips that his fingers got stuck and mine too. 😆. I didn’t say anything bc things happen and I definitely didn’t want to make him feel bad. Anyway, they switched back, and the other nail tech on the opposite side of me was to do the acrylic on my nails. I learned 2 things about wanting acrylic full set ballerina cut nails. 1. They’re not very skilled with applying acrylic (I think this is why the 1st time I was convinced to get the dip powder). Acrylic was dripping everywhere and it also got under my real nails (which are all cut short). 2. They didn’t fully understand what I meant by ballerina nails so I switched to coffin shaped instead. The nails turned out looking good but there’s been a lot of dried acrylic that wasn’t removed from under the nail tips and the edges. I removed most of them once I got home.

I have come to this establishment a few times within the past year, and the last 2 times have been horrible. Cindy was rude to my friend when we were there a month ago, so I should have known better. I came in at 11:45, initially wanting just a gel polish change on my hands and feet, and then decided I would add an overlay since my nails were getting longer. The overlay was decent. She didn't get the shape that I wanted correctly, but I was okay with how they looked. I asked for tapperd square, and she did square with rounded edges. I chose a clear glitter polish, and she said you would still be able to see my nail under it, so I asked her to add white. She painted my pinky first and asked if I liked it, I said yes, it's fine. She went on to paint my remaining nails, starting with a clear coat, followed by 2 white coats, then 2 coats of the glitter gel, and topped it with a final coat of clear. Y'all, my nails looked like trident gum! The polish was so thick! When I brought it to her attention, she became defensive and said, "That's how you wanted it!" I told her the paint looked horrible and asked her nicely to repaint them. She was pulling my hand and being aggressive while doing so. I didn't leave until 2:27 and didn't even get my toes painted! I brought the interaction to the managers attention, and he was cold and dismissive and backing up his rude worker. I will NEVER step foot in this place again, and I've already told my friends that frequent this establishment as well.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT ZERO STARS, I WOULD! I went to Palace Nails and Spa to get my nails done for my college graduation. I asked for a dipped nail set, French Tip. When I left, I will say my nails looked nice, but just two days later my nails began to crack, and by day three large pieces were falling off. By this time, I was already back in my college town, finishing up my finals, so I could only make a call to the establishment. I made them aware that I was disappointed with the service I received, and sent pictures of my cracked and broken nails. I then explained to them that due of finals, I wouldn't be able to come In for a repair until one week later. In response, I was told that it was not their fault but rather the quality of their product just being "sometimes bad." They then proceeded to say that because I couldn't make it in until a week later, there was "nothing" they could do in regards to repairing my nails. They did offer me 10% off of my next set of nails there, but after an experience like this, who would come back? Certainly not me! It is not the job of the consumer to be concerned about the quality of the products being used, and $55 for nails that didn't even last two days, is ridiculous. I now have to spend more money, that as a college student- I don't really have, going to another establishment to repair my nails. Save your time. Save your money. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

The staff is not friendly. I have witnessed on numerous occasions, even towards me. However today was my last straw. The manager for the night immediately told me at 7:02
..yes
.7:02: “We’re closing”

I said “Okay. Does that mean you can’t do a service. “

She said, “we’re closing”. As I walk out, two women enter. They are at the front for a while and then We’re escorted to a seat for their manicure and pedicure. I was beyond upset.

I could tell they were uncomfortable that I didn’t leave the store, but I knew I wanted to say something. All I wanted was to paint my nails, but you greeted me with “We’re closing” and wouldn’t provide a service, but two people got the service they wanted without the greeting they gave me.

I spoke with the manager who said “I didn’t say we were closed. I told you we were CLOSING.” I said, “what does that mean. When you say closing what does that mean?” She said we won’t do a service. I told her my problem was that I was greeted that way and this wasn’t the greeting she gave the other patrons. She said, “Ma’am you are last one who came,”. I said “no I wasn’t. I pointed to the women in the chair.” She rolled her eyes and said. “You were the last one.” So then one of the other women spoke to her in another language. Then she laughed. “Oh, I didn’t see them come in,”. I said. Okay, so you just accused me of lying?!? She said well I am sorry, what do you want?

This is at 7:09pm

I said, I have already seen this. But this is rude and why would I sit in your chair to make you feel better for how you treated me while you speak about me in a group in a language I don’t understand. No thank you.

People may like this place. But I am quite sure there are people they are friendlier to than others. But none of it gives them the right to be rude. Even if they aren’t rude to you, just keep your eye out. You will see. And I HAD to call them out because you cannot treat people like that and think it will be okay.

Being rude should not be the first action when greeting someone. Not even Customer Service 101, but a prerequisite to customer service.
