Don Taco — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Came here for dinner with my family. We all had different types of quesadillas meals that came with rice and beans. Overall, we were very pleased with the service we received today. Our sons meal was a regular quesadilla with no meat. At first we received the wrong order and when we went to go let them know. So what surprised us is that we were apologized to by the staff for the mix up. Then we were told to keep the wrong order and then when the order was corrected, instead of only getting the quesadilla that was wrong we actually got a whole new order of rice and beans with the quesadilla! The whole staff was extremely nice and apologetic. The restaurant was very clean, from where we could go to order. To also where we could go sit at the table to eat and lastly the restrooms were clean as well. For this being a first time experience, this is somewhere I would love to come back to. My employees and I usually order to-go from this place and even had it catered to our office for our meetings. Unfortunately this business has changed its restaurant staff and the customer service has severely diminished. For the first time in my life I had the experience in being told that what I ordered was not the way it was made and was given an attitude and discussing it as if they were doing me a favor. What’s more interesting is that I have ordered the same way in the past and always got my food the way I want it. This came from a lady that works the register and claims to be the owners wife. Well Don Taco , sorry to break it to ya but if you don’t make your food the way the paying customer wants it, then the customer will find another place that will. I would suggest you be careful with how you sell your service as there is ALOT of other restaurants opening up around here on every corner which means us customers...

We have been here many times & we keep coming back. The food is great. Always consistent. I usually get the fish taco plate, the fish is cooked to perfection, the slaw on top is so flavorful. Pro tip, add the pico, the side of guac, the limes, & any of their salsas; oh so good. I also usually ask for the charro beans, wow those are packed with flavor. Their Mexican rice & refried beans are also cooked very well, great flavor in those as well. Another pro tip, again add one of their salsas to the rice, takes it to another level, yummy! Great portion sizes too for your buck. My wife basically got the same thing but with shrimp, she loved hers as well. The kids plates also are great proportioned.
