The atmosphere here is simply amazing and the food, while basic, is very good! However the service on the sunday afternoon we went was absolutely horrible. We sat down outside for 15-20 minutes without evening being noticed even after 1st going inside. After getting the attention of the one waitress there, with at least a dozen tables, we finally ordered drinks. After 10 minutes our drinks arrived and before we could even say thank you the waitress vanished. After another 15 minutes passed my wife went in and asked for menus to which the waitress replied "oh I thought you were just having drinks" which is funny since its lunch time and we ordered a water & an iced tea. We ordered and received our food fairly fast and it was very good! However after getting our food we never saw the waitress again at all my tea was empty quickly and I never received a refill. Literally 30 minutes after we were finished eating still no sign of the waitress or anyone else we went inside got the bill and paid. It has to be the longest lunch experience ever which was filled with much more time waiting & wondering then actual eating...
Read moreOverall: This place is absolutely amazing. My friend and I came here on Wednesday and our experience was out of this world. We were the only Black Americans here and we felt extremely welcomed and served with care/honor. Reed is absolutely an amazing bartender. He was attentive, had an awesome story and just is a people person. We also ran into a guy named David, and I he was absolutely awesome.
Food: we didn't have any food but I feel it would be awesome.
Customer Service: Reed is the absolutely best. He is such a great person. Was extremely professional. Great guy with an amazing story. We will come back due to Reed customer service.
Bottom line: Reed, you are the reason I wrote a review. You paired with David made our experience as Black Americans being the only Black People in the pub made the experience feel like we were just people. In Fort Worth we don't always feel that way and we appreciate you because you did amazing at being hou. We'll be back and thank you for...

Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, I don’t feel entirely safe being out in public right now in Fort Worth, so I’ve got to hunker down for a while. But once things calm and the air clears, I’ll definitely be back through those doors. I meant that.
Thank you for holding down a real space in a world that’s gotten a...
