P.F. Chang’s if you haven’t came here to eat yet what are you even waiting on? Serious question¿ my wife and I went on March 1st to celebrate our 4 years Anniversary we went around 8:15ish. It was t to packed it was the perfect amount of people on a Wednesday there. Clean restaurant clean bathrooms all the servers are nice and very professional.
Now let me tell you about our server Hidie she made our experience there 1000% amazing she went above and beyond for us. She had a lot of tables that day but she was moving and constantly check up on all of her tables. The kitchen kept on making mistakes on the plates and she was staring to get frustrated over it and kept apologizing over and over. A couple of her tables left and didn’t tip at all just paid there bills and bounced. If your going out to eat at any restaurant and you can’t afford to tip or can’t tip maybe you shouldn’t go that’s just my two cents. Hidie kept asking if there was anything she could do to make out experience better because of the mess up from the kitchen but I told her with her excellence services she was giving us was enough. Management you have a good employee there keep her happy now next time I go I’ll ask to sit in her section.
Now the food; The stirfry noodles on point 8/10 The fried rice 5/10 (Because kitchen Burt it) The Mongolian beef 9/10 (too many green onions for me) The orange Chicken 8/10 The desert it’s a coconut vanilla with banana egg rolls now I know it could crazy but it was amazing definitely a 10/10
My favorite favorite appetizer is the Asian BBQ ribs I was literally licking my fingers. I forgot to take a picture next time I go I’ll...
Read moreThis is definitely NOT the same PF Chang's from years ago-at all. I've heard so many people say that but had to see-and it's true. :(
First we made reservations-days in advance for a bday part of 8. We arrived and were told we'd have to wait in the bar because our server had not arrived. So instead of sitting us down and bringing us water at least, they made us stay in the bar for 20 minutes until the server arrived for her shift. That's NOT good customer service-at least give us a table to sit at-especially since it was early and there were all kinds of open places.
7 out of 8 meals were not good and bad quality. It's like they are phoning it in now. We learned that a private equity bought them several years ago-and my relatives who lived on the west coast said that's the time they noticed a decline in the food-in their state-and now it looks like it's no different in TX. My lettuce wraps were not the famous iceberg wraps they used to be-instead you're given these skinny, dry, small romaine pieces. And the actual chicken and flavoring is way off. My father's fried rice was not consumable-it tasted like it was warmed up in a microwave and it was soaking in water. The crab appetizer was awful and dry. Almost everyone there could not eat their meal. I could go on. All 8 of us remember the good ol' days of PF Chang's and they have certainly left and changed what once made them great and so popular. I'm sure all in the name of saving money.
It was a very disappointing experience, all around, and shocking how the quality has gone down...I guess nothing does stay the same...we will not...
Read moreI dined in with two friends, it was my first time at PF Chang’s. My friends ordered lettuce wraps and while the lettuce was crispy and fresh the chicken and vegetable protein was bland and over cooked/brunt. The Manager came by to check on us and said she comped one of the lettuce wraps because it was my first time there, but both wraps were on our bill. Our waiter tried, but was fairly ineffective, I asked if the bartender could make a mocktail akin to a French 75, and after a couple rounds of conversation was came over without invention claiming they couldn’t make a comparable drink because the ingredients of a French 75 were mostly alcoholic, fair, but could have suggest something else. I ended up ordering a glass of Pinot Noir, which I took a sip and sent it back, it was too floral. Then I asked for red recommendations, I ordered Beef with Broccoli, and asked if I could taste them. The waiter served red wine in white, porcelain sake cups instead of wine glasses, which I thought was strange. Inevitably, I chose the Malbec, albeit they were all too deep and/or floral for my taste, and it didn’t come until just before we got our check. Despite sending the first back, I was charged for it. Two items that should have come off our bill, the wrap and glass of wine, and largely an underwhelming experience. The beef with broccoli left something to be desired as well. I do not recommend eating...
