Atmosphere 3 Service 5 Food 4
This was a worthwhile experience, the location is a bit tricky to get to but if you’re local or using a GPS app you should be good.
The menu is easy to read and figure out, options are plentiful. The server was amazingly helpful and friendly. This made ordering quite a bit easier.
I picked the L.A Galbi with noodles and steamed veggies, my wife picked Chicken an noodle with steamed veggies, we ordered an appetizer of gyoza. Our food arrived before our Gyoza which wasn’t bad we actually liked it. Everything arrived hot and fresh, my meal was tasty and the portions were well worth what we paid. My wife was a bit underwhelmed by her choice but she enjoyed it and said she should have gone with her first choice. The gyoza was not the best we’ve had but was also worth the price.
The atmosphere was on the trendy and modern side playing all the hits from tiktok and IG reels. If you’re a parent with small kids don’t be shocked if a curse word or two is on the lyrics. Other than that this would be perfect place to have a causal lunch or dinner with friends or as a first or even last date if the relationship was on the outs, nothing softens a break up like...
Read moreThe food shouldn’t be named hibachi... It’s not marinated hibachi meat you’re thinking. Think cooked too long chicken breast cut into large cubes, in a pan on your stove with pepper. The shrimp portion means 4 shrimp (they’re large size though) doused in pepper, the rice, doused in pepper with the oddly cooked veggies. Then the steak, think a super well done, over cooked dried out steak cut into cubes. I could barely hear the woman taking my order. She was whispering and there are grills and other patrons so I couldn’t hear. She would awkwardly roll her eyes when I would ask her to repeat (I should mention she was wearing a mask so I truly couldn’t make out what she was saying which was hard). I then get to the end and I’m told to come grab my food, I do. I’m asking questions about the sauce… it’s not yum yum sauce or a variation. It’s ginger mayo. The only positive I could think is the noodles were teriyaki flavored in the kids meal. I ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals. No extras and it came to $64…...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal. My wife and I love hibachi but it’s usually expensive, time consuming, and you often have to sit next to some family celebrating their kid’s 3rd birthday while the chef puts on a show. That may be fun for some but frankly we just want the food, well at F&F you get the same quality and taste as your favorite hibachi grill but in an almost Chipotle style fast food format. The price is perfectly fair in my opinion, we feed two for $35 but the quality and portion sizes are excellent in fact we’ve never been able to finish our meal in one sitting and take it home with enough leftover for a small meal or large snack later. I’m very plain so I just get beef with noodles so excuse the uninspired picture but if a restaurant can be great enough for me to type this essay over beef and noodles it’s 100% worth...
