Zero Stars - Where to begin.. Well for starters i have yet to get a pickup order that is assembled and cooked correctly. Ordered eggrolls? Not in the bag! Wontons, burnt and inedible. The crab is dried out and stringy and there's no cream cheese in it. Don't bother ordering Gluten Free- it won't be. My wife has an extreme gluten allergy, and she had a BAD reaction.
Order extra sauce. I got a pint container with 1-2 tablespoons. I asked for more and what they delivered was NOT edible and tasted metallic.
Lets move to the staff. I asked the Expo girl if my order was right and without making eye-contact she yells Yes just take it. (doesn't ask my name to make sure i match the order) I then check the order myself and ask the guy where my other order components are. "uh i dunno" then turns away to take another order. I grab his attention again and notice he's earing Airpods... THEY"RE ALL WEARING AIRPODS -The Cashier, Expo, Cooks, - EVEN THE MANAGER!!!! (bald guy). I asked for a refund of my order and they declined (we're too busy to do that please just take your food and go) we get home - Honey seared Chicken- OverFried and Dry, Sw&Sr Chicken? Dry (and on rice instead of fried rice) GF kung pow Shrimp - not GF and wrong side (ergo Sick Wife) Missing Egggrolls, Missing Sauce. and only 1 Fortune cookie in the bag,.
HELLO? Corporate? SHUT IT DOWN! Seriously. The manager was running the Wok in the kitchen with ungloved hands while touching his earphone. Also No masks being worn in the kitchen, in case that matters to anyone.
At this point its basic public endangerment and Criminal Negligence to operate Food Service this poorly.
Update:
Went back to get a refund - was told I would be refunded in 5-7days
That was a month ago. No money was refunded. Over $120 in food.
Was told that the District manager Caesar R. would be calling me to get more information. Never happened.
Reached out to the contact form on the website as the company response below suggested- also a month ago. They have yet to respond.
I Give up on PeiWei. At this point they know they are a terrible organization and clearly no...
Read moreIf I could give this Pei Wei less than 1 star, I would after my experience tonight. I have been a customer of Pei Wei for over 10 years, but after tonight I think I am done going to Pei Wei, at least this location. I have been craving Chinese food for 3 days, so after a 12+ hour day at work, my husband and I decided to order to-go. I tried calling our order in, but after being put on hold for a long time I hung up and decided to try ordering on the mobile site. We ordered orange chicken, an egg roll, crab wontons, and chicken fried rice. I was told the order would be ready at 7:49, so my husband arrived around 7:55. Upon his arrival he was told it would be another 25-30 minute wait for our food. The manager came by, but did not apologize and simply gave an excuse that they were busy due to a promotion they were running. Isn't the point of a promotion to bring in more business? Afraid that did not happen tonight. After waiting for 30 minutes, my husband received our bag of food and came home. We were both very hungry and were anxious to dig in. When we opened the food we did not receive any of the food we ordered and the food we did receive was of terrible quality. After trying to eat some of the food, I gave up and I am now heating up a bowl of Chef Boyardee for dinner instead. I guess my hunt to curb this Chinese food craving goes on, but I will be sure to try somewhere else next time.
Update: Left feedback on the company website on the day it happened (8/24/18) and still have not been contacted...
Read moreTonight, I gave my two young boys the option for dinner. Excitedly, they wanted Pei Wei. We arrive, with 5 in front of us. Wait was 5 minutes or so. The gentleman at the register was amazing. He was so helpful and patient, while my two boys ordered their own food and even helped me decide what I wanted. Well, when my food came out, my rice was cold. So, I brought it back up front and wanted just fresh rice. The young lady, Kayla said she would just have them remake it and apologized several times. She went to the passline and asked them to remake it. I returned to may table and waited for 22 minutes, as my food sat in the pass for 17 minutes of that. As I sat there, I watch theanager pick up and set down my plate of food many times, not one time did she ask anyone what it was or where it belonged. I returned to the front and Kayla assisted me again. She went to the manager again and asked about my meal. The MANAGER raises her voice and smacks her chest and says "Did you tell me?" and as Kayla tried to say something, she then raised her voice over her and repeated the same actions. Kayla walked away with tears ready to run down her face. As a General Manager of a restaurant, this is unacceptable. It took every fiber in my being to not go off on her. The manager then brought my food to me when it was ready and with a fake smile, and very unpleasant apology. I later, asked another employee what the manager's name and he...
