I was completely appalled by the experience I had today. For starters, I'm 5 months pregnant and DYING for some pizza. I had recently been emailed coupons for free large pizzas due to previous issues with this same store. I have used these types of coupons at this store multiple times without issue. However, today was different.
Since you can't use two of the coupons in one order, I placed two separate orders for large pizzas. The first accepted the coupon without issue. The second kept telling me there was no large pizza in the cart. I figured I could apply the coupon when I picked up the pizza and wasn't too worried.
When I arrived to pick up my orders, I mentioned my problem to the check out girl, who told me they don't accept that coupon. I explained the situation and told her that it worked on the first order and had worked multiple times before. She offered to get a manager.
I waited 3-4 minutes for the manager to stop "trying to unfreeze a computer screen," before being rudely greeted. I explained the situation to her, and she got extremely rude with me. She insisted their store didn't accept the coupons, to which I reminded her that the first order worked fine and had been fine multiple other times at the store. I also explained that her store was the reason I received the coupons to begin with.
She then yelled at me in front of other customers, "I WILL NOT honor those coupons and your first order WILL NOT be free."
After that much disrespect in front of other customers, I told her to keep her pizza and requested the store...
Read moreI order a delivery. I was missing half my order almost. I was on the phone with Pizza Hut Customer Service for over 1 hour, getting transferred back and forth. No one knew what to do. Called the store itself more then 40x NO ANSWER. So, I decided to drive to the store, to find out that the store is close but not the drive-thru.... I spoke to the manager, I explained that I do understand that sometime restaurants shorthanded but that was not necessary to not pick up the phone. The manager acted as he did not care for his job, did not do anything to but wasted my time, delivery fee and to help in matter. It was so unprofessional. Remind you that I had small kids to attended to and paid delivery fee and even tip the delivery lady really good. Manager stated that the driver forgotten the order, but if you knew... as a manger he should have sent her back to re-delivery the item to the customer. Pizza Hut just lost a loyal customer, I'm so disappointed on how customer service conducted themselves. This is the 2nd time this has happened with Pizza Hut. Calling customer service was a waste of time, all they want is for someone to place an order..... Headquarters' does not respond back...
Read moreThis is the first time that I placed an order with this particular branch of Pizza Hut, while at the same time, trying a new product item. Therefore, it is difficult to know whether the poor quality of the order was due to the branch, or the item itself.
I was definitely surprised that when ordering chicken wings, you weren't given any sauces, as part of the order. I had expected that they would ask about that at the restaurant, but they didn't. I guess Pizza Hut is charging for sauces now?
I did try the new "Detroit Style" pizza, and it was just awful. I got the "meats" version, which included pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. I noticed perhaps one piece of pepperoni on each slice, a couple pieces of sausage, and could not detect any bacon at all, on the entire pizza. I would never order this particular product again, it is was a bad pizza and poor value.
But again, it is hard to know whether or not my poor experience is related to this new food item, or this particular branch of the restaurant. Regardless, I won't be eating at this store again, there are just too many other options for pizza (and food...
