I have been a life long customer but I am never going back. About 2 months ago we ordered online, when I got there I had to wait 45 minutes as I watched people come in after get their food. Since that was a one time incident I went back a few times, they never have jalepeno chips anymore. Then today we placed an order online, when I got there the cashier has no idea what she was doing. As I waited for my online order, once again I actually heard her ask a customer if they wanted flat bread or pizza crust, she said pizza crust and the girl immediately said they don't have it, so why even ask. As I sat there for 15 minutes I asked about my order. We ordered 2 calzones and 2 flat breads, we were told calzones weren't available even though we had paid for them online. She tried to say we could pay for them and they would make them but would be 20 more minutes. I looked at the receipt and showed her we were charged. So we got a refund and left. Read moreY'all. I want to leave a good review because I love schlotskys sandwiches. But I just can't. I've had countless negative run-ins at this location. The two most recent ones involved them not giving me all my food in the drive-through. I made it all the way home and realized I had been shorted a sandwich. I called and told them I was shorted a sandwich, the woman apathetically replied "yours must be the one sitting here". I then drove to schlotskys to grab my sandwich only to be met with distrust and frustration from the drive through worker. As if I was in the wrong. I didn't receive an apology for the inconvenience, explanation, or even "have a good night". Iunderstand mistakes happen, but twice in a row-and with no sensitivity?! The food is good, but I'm just so incredibly disappointed in the staff here. It's just disheartening to feel put down by the employees when you're just trying to grab dinner. Read moreOn this day normal weather, at 7:15pm 1 hr 45mins before they closed we pulled up and they were putting a sign on the door. Dining room closed drive through open. Considering I saw 4 customers in the establishment and I am guessing the 2 people working were also the closers, the dining room had obviously been open. As a chef in the Dfw area I truly understand staffing issues. What I have an issue with is establishments that are closing 2 and 3 hrs before the sign on the door and even the online time. The food industry is taking a beating right now with understaffed issues sky rocketing food costs for the restaurants from suppliers and suffering customer service. As an industry we have to do our best to serve our customers the best we can. All that being said, my wife enjoys your food, for me it's good not great.
