09/28/25 I made it to smoothie king at about 12:45pm. In addition my smoothie, I ordered 5 more. There was a family of 3 and 1 male that ordered before me so I expected a wait but not 45min! Having only 2 workers on the floor ON A SUNDAY probably wasn’t the brightest idea for scheduling….but then again I have been to other locations in Tarrant county that have moved a lot faster during a rush hour with the same amount of workers. Not only was the wait long, another female customer who came in AFTER me and my family was irritated due to waiting for so long so she received her smoothies before me as well. Being that my husband had somewhere to be in a timely manner, I told the workers that I would just take the 4 smoothies that were finally ready at 1:30pm (smh) and that I would come right back for the other 2 smoothies. I made it back at about 2:15pm and guess what? they still weren’t ready. What’s crazy is I told the guy with the boot on to go ahead and make them and put them in the fridge and I’ll be back. Not only was the service slow but the worker (black girl )with the golden/blonde/orange braids had a nasty attitude and she was constantly slamming the kitchen equipment. Your smoothies are advertised for health and wellness so I would like to get a smoothie blended without the negative energy hovering over food that’s meant to nourish my body. And all 6 smoothies were terribly blended! I seriously need to hear from a manager because I am appalled with having spent $70 in this economy on what I THOUGHT would be a nice treat for my family….only for this to be a...
Read moreI was thrilled to see this coming in and I have gone a good many times...hoping each time that things had gotten better. Optimism at its finest, or maybe you would call it stupidity given the price tag for each visit. Smoothies never taste the same and they only honor corporate promotions when it suites them, which isn't warned of in the app. This last time they were fixing a mistake from our last visit only to run into more issues this time, costing us $12 when the drinks should have been free because of the rewards I have earned. The store manager, Genessa (sp?), at the time has no problem-solving skills and was going to let us just walk out. My husband came up with an alternate plan which worked to get us the smoothies, but again costs us money because we couldn't use points. Then...she had the nerve to go to the back leaving the only other 2 poor workers alone to run a packed drive-thru and a store front with several customers inside. She literally turned away from the people behind us in line and left them standing there until the drive-thru guy noticed and stopped taking drive-thru orders to help them. Just insane. Will not be going back to this location. Luckily, these are franchised and there are others around that are AWESOME! 10/10 driving a little further to have a good smoothie and great experience because neither is a guarantee at...
Read moreThis was my first time at this location. I was only here because my normal one on Wilshire Blvd was closed due to the Easter holiday. I always place my order in advance and pick it up on my way to work. On this particular day [April 20th], I pulled up to this location, ordered my usual PB Swizzle Smoothie Bowl, and Cold Brew Coffee D-Lite Vanilla, via the app, walk inside and wait. As I'm waiting, I witnessed something disturbing. The young lady was preparing a smoothie bowl, as she squeezed the topping that goes across the top some spilled, she scooped it up with her bare hand, placed it on top of the fruit, wiped her hand on her pants and proceeded to do this 3 more times!!! When she realized I was watching, she ran and washed her hands and then started using a napkin to scoop up any mess she made and threw it away. I was appalled as that was very unsanitary and was happy she wasn't preparing my order. Please see pics attached. I will NEVER purchase anything from this location on 5309 McPherson Blvd. I will stick to my location on 333 SW Wilshire. They're always friendly, clean, and greet me by name...
