I’ve been a loyal customer at Twin Peaks for a long time, visiting frequently (around 5 times a week) with my brother, and we always spend over $100 per visit. I’ve always enjoyed the food, drinks, and the service, and the beautiful attentive servers. However, I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the Twin Peaks location this Saturday evening that I feel compelled to share.
I went in specifically to watch the UFC fight and have a few drinks. I’m not a regular drinker, but I wanted to enjoy the evening. I arrived at 5 p.m. and had two double shots (4 shots total). After this, I was abruptly cut off by the manager, Carlos Rosales. This was surprising, as I had been there for over three hours, and my brother, who also had a few drinks, was cut off as well.
The thing that bothered me was that Carlos didn’t offer any explanation for cutting us off this time. He simply told us, “You’re done for the day,” with no further conversation or attempt to assess our level of intoxication. This was in contrast to a visit a couple of weeks ago, when we came in on a Wednesday during lunch hours. That time, Carlos explained that we were being cut off because it was the afternoon, which was understandable given the time of day. However, today, when we were only having two drinks each, there was no explanation—just an abrupt dismissal.
Carlos even mentioned an incident involving someone who shot a cop after consuming a large number of drinks, which seemed completely irrelevant and inappropriate. I’m not sure why he would bring this up, especially since I was not drunk, nor were we behaving in any disruptive way.
When we tried to speak with Carlos and explain that we had only had two drinks each and had been there for several hours, he refused to engage with us. He simply kept saying, “You’re done for the day.” There was no attempt to hear us out or resolve the situation.
To make matters worse, when we asked where we could file a formal complaint, Carlos again refused to speak with us. He told us to leave and even accused us of calling him names, which we did not. He was very defensive and unprofessional. During this time, a drunk patron—who seemed to be a friend of Carlos—came up and started threatening us. Carlos said nothing to intervene, despite the man being clearly intoxicated and aggressive. It felt as though Carlos was more concerned with protecting his friend than handling the situation professionally.
I want to make it clear that my issue is with Carlos Rosales, not with the restaurant as a whole. Twin Peaks is a great place with great food and drink, and I’ve always enjoyed my visits there. But the way Carlos treated us on Saturday was completely uncalled for. He was rude, dismissive, and created an uncomfortable situation where there was no need for one.
I hope that Twin Peaks takes this feedback seriously and looks into Carlos Rosales’ behavior, as this experience has left me seriously questioning whether I will return. I’ve spent a lot of money at Twin Peaks in the past, but I cannot continue to support a place where I’m treated unfairly and with such disrespect.
I’d like to know how Twin Peaks plans to address this issue and whether Carlos will be held accountable for...
Read moreWell, I stop at this restaurant on my way home at least once a week during summer time and hot days after work. Definitely the coldest beer you can get from start to finish. I am more disappointed with the manager on this restaurant because of the way he handle things. Happened that sometime during one of my visits I decide to pay cash since I realize I had a low balance on the card I had on file at the moment. Well, I end up being charge to my card even I had paid with cash. I received a notification on my way home that my card was processed, weird right? There is cameras all over the place specially if you are set at the bar just like I was. The manager said he was going to look at the cameras and that he will call me right on next day morning. I talked to The attendants and they said it could be a mistake or miss understanding but I clearly ask them not to be charge to the card and that was the only reason I decide to pay with cash so there was no room for miss understanding. I think the girl knew exactly what she was doing " she used the cash as a tip and processed the card to pay the bill after I was gone and I realized she never gave me back a receipt as a payment but she knew I asked to do not process the card. I paid with cash and I included a 40% tip and then on top of that they processed my card to pay the bill and included another 30% tip on a card and on a receipt I never signed. A few weeks went by and I was still coming in and out to the point I already for got about it and though nobody is going to do anything. The manager saw me and I guess he could avoid me and he brought up the situation and he gave me hope again. Well, a few more weeks went by and they were just giving me the long run and I gave up. It was so easy to find the truth by just look at the cameras recording. I had all details and gave it to the manager twice. I guess the manager could not accept he forgot to do his job, promise or responsibilities but happened to him easier to ask me to not to come to that place no more. May be the girl is involved with him on the case? Or some kind of interest? Guys I'm telling my story so nobody else get screw the way they did to me. Other than that, food is good, most of the girls are nice, and nothing like a cold, cold beer in a hot day. Beware of what they charge and if you decide to change your payment method you could end up being...
Read moreOn Saturday I went with my friends to see the Canelo fight and I found a terrible security service that did not know how to read the expiration date of my ID nor the restaurant manager. They started saying bad words to me and disrespecting me and kicking me out when we were 10 people in the restaurant, and started with racist comments about how IDs from other places were not accepted When all the workers are Mexican and everyone in the restaurant was Mexican, They also did not want to accept their mistake or apologize to me and they took me out of the restaurant, and forcibly removed the people who were inside the restaurant who are waiting for us, a lack of professionalism and a lack of respect because the workers and Consumers who go to the restaurant are Mexican and it was a very important fight for the Latino community, The manager Terry Paterson also did not know how to handle his job position nor did the security guard know how to handle his job and all he did was forcibly remove us without apologizing for his mistakes and making very racist comments. Do not go to that restaurant because they will become racist with you and the workers also do not know how to read an ID and the manager is not qualified for his position, I sincerely hope that your restaurant can take action on the matter and give a warning to the workers who did their job poorly and handle more what is customer service and equality between all nations and take into account that in such important events it is necessary to take into account that people come from all over the world because it is a community of many people from different countries and languages who want to know new restaurants but because of employees with that type of professionalism and racism in their heads they make us have a bad time and never return to this type of business. We have videos and evidence of everything that happened that day and how they treated us to take it more severely with the corporation, and their managers higher up who have the wisdom and power to take action all kinds of actions of professionalism and have a...
