Tried Vice Burger for the first time yesterday. It was decent, but not especially rave-worthy. The order consisted of the Vice Burger w/ impossible patty and pepper jack cheese added; Viced Up Sidewinder fries; Caesar Salad; Chocolate Shake.
Burger: It was decent. 6/10. Honestly, I think the buns ruined it most for me. They felt like they came straight out of a package, not toasted or buttered from what I could tell. A little crumbly.
Viced up Sidewinder fries: 8/10. I loved the fries themselves, just wish it was a larger portion size. The chili and cheese were good; however, I wish online ordering had the option to request a smaller portion of certain toppings. I could've gone less chili and more cheese. Definitely could've gone with fewer diced onions, or grilled onions instead. This is just personal taste preference though. Still, a larger portion would be nice.
Caesar Salad: 5/10. It was your standard greens, topped with a few croutons and some dressing. Generally, the score would be higher because I enjoy Caesar salad, but I wasn't a fan of the dressing on this one. It tasted a little top vinegar-y. I more prefer the caesar dressing at Spiral or Pizza Verde.
Chocolate Shake: 9/10. š Very good, it was just small. Kids size. Not something you'd want to share with anyone lol. Also, personal preference, I wish they added a bit of whip cream and a cherry on top like Spiral does, but whatever, it's good regardless.
The only other thing I would recommend is updating the online ordering to give a real time estimate of when the food will be ready. This was my first time ordering from there, and the confirmation told me "Your food will be ready between 6:45pm and 8:30pm" - so it was a little confusing knowing when to actually show up. Ultimately, I got there around 6:55 and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent for the first time... homeboy with the nose piercing could do a bit better as his customer service. I wanted to try several items on the menu, but seeing how he interacted with the person I was with killed my desire. He could've had a bad day or whatnot, but if someone has questions about a particular item because of a diet restriction that could send them to the hospital then I would figure you'd be a bit more comprehensive to the questions...I dunno from the moment we walked in he just had a unwelcoming face. I guess he was tired. Yeah, he made the food for them, and we left, but attitude like such makes me think twice about ever even giving it a second try... I was excited about this new vegan spot here, but the deliverance of info/service could be better... food truck Its food is just right down the block. The whole layout is nice and cool, but if you address or interact with ppl like that, then I dunno it kills the whole vibe of the nice layout he has...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing!! Me and my husband have been vegans for about 5 years and this place by far has the best vegan burgers in town. You won't even realize you're missing meat.
I had the Vice burger, classic and mouthwatering. You can't go wrong with that and the Vice sauce which really makes it something special. I enjoyed it with the beyond patty. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that he enjoyed so much he was practically eating the paper it came wrapped in. We finished it off with the tots that were coated in a little seasoning. My only complaint was that the seasoning on the tots wasn't even; some tots had lots and others had none.
Otherwise, plenty of food and delicious. Great stuff! Highly recommend if you're a long time vegan or going for a more guilt free "meatless Monday" mentality...
