First time at Mimi's which is a bistro diner playing up French cuisine. First, the menu selection was elaborate with a blend of authentic French offerings and casual American dishes where you can get breakfast all day or go full-on with a diner-style 3 course meal for lunch or dinner. The prices were very fair and portions were generous. You can find unusual items like crepes, croque monsieur, and the like. Also, the service was good 👍 Shout out to William who was most attentive and charming. Here's why the 3 stars rather than 5: Ordered a fresh made croissant and it was blasted in a microwave and naturally arrived rubbery. I really don't like sending back food but this was bad. The server was gracious and kind about it. I ended up ordering another - no heat offered - to get that real croissant, flaky goodness but no. It was dense and definitely NOT French. I lived in Paris and even if I hadn't, anyone would know this is not authentic. The other reason is because I ordered the summer fruit salad with shrimp. All supposed to be fresh ingredients but they threw in canned mandarin oranges blended with fresh strawberries and grilled pineapple. Although the vinaigrette was good. (Pictured) Will visit again but with an understanding that there are pros and cons. If nothing else it's good for a great, hearty French-styled breakfast or lunch. My son loved the berry crepes (pictured).

When walking in it at approximately 10:15am, for a Sunday it seemed pretty dead. Me and my guest waited to be called no more than 5mins. When we got seated I already knew what I was going to have and my guest as well knew. We were waiting and waiting for over 8mins. Then we actually got acknowledged by are server. She said that she would be right with us. Then she took another couple of minutes to come back. She asked us for are drinks, which I ordered a coffee and the Santa fe and my guest ordered a dr people and bacon omlette. Staci are waitress came back with my coffee and I asked for flavored creamer (I've been to different locations which they've had) and her answer was "this is the only creamer we have". As for my guest she was waiting for her dr pepper for some time. When the food arrived the presentation seemed a bit off. As you can see in the picture that's what it looked like when it was placed in front of me (minus the hit sauce ). As for flavor it was bland, at this point was was pretty much over this visit. I just wanted to get the check and go run errands. This was my first time to this location and my last. The hostess were the only reason for the 2 stars.

My family and I have been to this restaurant several times but this is the very first time I have been extremely disappointed at its service. The waitress had an attitude towards us in the beginning. I'm feeling like she held a prejudice against us. She didnt even set up the table - serving us no utensils. I requested her several times but she ignored us. We requested for straws and she continued to ignore us. For 2 times calls, she completely ignored us. For the third call, we got to ask other male waiter for straws. She was supposed to take away the empty dirty dishes and plates before she served us the dessert. She didn't do so. There was no room on the table for us to enjoy our desserts since the dirty plates and dishes were all over the table. I called her up 3 times to ask her to take away the plates and dishes. I confronted her: " I asked you twice to take them away but why did you ignore us?". And she disdainfully asked me, pretending like that never happens: "Want to me take those away?". What kind of question is it? I dont know what the hell is wrong with her? Does she think we need to put away the plates and dishes ourselves? Then we dont need a waitress there. We dined in even larger and fancier restaurants at least 6 times every week but we havent received such horrible service that is comparable to Mimi's Cafe. It's even worse than the restaurant from Hell. If it wasn't because my Mother in law loves the turkey there, we wouldnt have been here and we wouldnt have been served horribly. The manager there totally mismanaged the restaurant. How could he hire someone who is lack of hospitality professionalism? Was the employee properly trained? I still keep the photo of the tables. My husband and I are entrepreneurs and if we have such employee like that, we will dismiss her in any second. We filed a complaint against her with the manager. He wanted not to charge our son's meal but I refused. We dont want a free meal for our son. We eat and we pay. I put $78 on the table and tipped $0 cuz the service was among the worst of the worst. We ate in restaurant that billed us over $500 every time we ate. We just wanted to complain and inform that the service of this restaurant is the most horrible and that waitress shouldn't have been hired. i recommend any restaurant owner that intends to hire her in the future, please dont unless you all want your customer's experience to be the worst. That waitress was the rudest one I have ever met. She ruined all of the fun of our holiday. Today is Easter Sunday and she just made our holiday horrible. If there's an option to put zero star, I'll...

I started having Thanksgiving dinner on my own many, many years ago. My friends at the time had young kids and they were starting their own traditions, and while I was never short an invitation (and even accepted now and then), I still felt better being on my own. Back then I went into the restaurant and had my meal while I read, but the restaurants started to get very busy over the years so I started grabbing it to go.

Back then the special meal was about $18. Over the years, the price has gone up, of course, but the meal has actually lost the extras that used to make it great. Having consistently ordered it over several years and at various Mimi's locations, I can speak to the quality over time. But still, it's been my tradition so without checking the cost, I just headed over and grabbed my two meals.

I was really surprised to find that the meal is now $28.99. And I would not mind paying that if the quality had not declined. To be clear, I've seen this the last few years from different locations. I even grabbed mine during COVID when they were just doing pick-up.

But I think this will be the last year that I choose a Mimi's holiday meal. You don't get a roll anymore, you don't get gravy unless you ask for it, the sweat potato mash was bland and there was way too much of it and not enough mashed potatoes, the stuffing and the turkey were incredibly dry. They used to offer cheesecake as a dessert option, now it's only pumpkin and pecan pie - which sorry but, yuck to both. It wasn't the first time it was disappointing but it is the first time I said it out loud (well, to myself).

I just happened to pick the meal up at this location but like I said before, they have been declining in quality for a bit now. I've forgiven it because it's my tradition - and, honestly, because I've never thought to look elsewhere. But with more and more restaurants serving holiday dinners, I think I'm going to look around for another option next year.

The crazy thing is that their regular turkey dinner is absolutely delicious, and it's about $15.00 (last I checked).

I will still enjoy their regular menu but the holiday meal needs to be improved a lot if I'm going to pay that much...
