If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’m a very patient person, but when you make my order constantly wrong I start to get upset. Last time I went to Dairy Queen I ordered what I always order: The royal ultimate chocolate brownie extreme. It’s chocolate brownies, choco chunks, and fudge blended with vanilla icecream and filled with hot fudge. They gave me an Peanutbutter something blizzard instead, I didn’t notice until I got home (which I live 15 minutes away) and had to go back for them to fix it. Then I went again today, and I got a s’mores blizzard for my mom and then the royal ultimate chocolate brownie for me. I went through the drive thru, got my order and before I left the parking lot that I was about to turn out of, I checked to see if it was right because it didn’t look like it. They gave me an Oreo blizzard. So I parked, went inside, and asked them to remake it. They kept having to ask me what it was again, and I told them and I told reek and showed them how to make it and so they started remaking it. When she came back, she handed me a blizzard, that was wrong again. It was just a straight up vanilla icecream blizzard, and the royal ultimate chocolate brownie extreme is supposed to be blended with fudge and then you also put hot fudge in the middle, so it tastes like chocolate icecream. At this point I was already done, my moms icecream was melting and I was tired. The girl decided to remake it again, and when she came back she handed me a blizzard that was literally only chocolate icecream, wirh hot usage in the middle. For one, the royal brownie extreme isn’t even made with chocolate icecream, it’s made with vanilla icecream but you’re supposed to blend in hot fudge so it looks like chocolate icecream but it tastes more fudgey. Also, there was no brownie chunks in it, no chocolate chunks, there was nothing in it. It was straight up plain chocolate icecream. This was the 3rd time in a row in a span of about 20 minutes that they got it wrong. At this point I was done, I was trying not to cry because all I wanted was my favorite blizzard, and they couldn’t even give me that. I decided to just give up and ask for a refund, which they obliged, but not once did I get an apology, not once did anyone offer me maybe a medium fry for free or a small hot fudge sundae for free, for constantly getting my blizzard wrong, I was offered nothing to make me feel better, and I’m not saying that they have to offer me something for free, but isn’t that what you do in the food business anyways when something is wrong? You say, here, I’m so sorry about that let me remake that, can I get you a insert item here on the house for the trouble? But I wasn’t offered anything, they didn’t even offer to remake it and give me the refund. They just gave me a refund, and that was it. There was no “let me get you a free chocolate shake” and there was no like “here take this coupon for one free blizzard next time you come in” none of that. You see I work a starbucks, so I know what it’s like to get confused with drinks, but never, never in my time of working st starbucks have I made a drink wrong 3 times in a row, and on top of that, I’ve never not offered someone something for free for the trouble. I’ll say hey, your drink is on me today, or would you like a free pastry? So I know customer service, and starbucks is all about that. But I wasn’t given any of that from Dairy Queen, and I’m honestly honestly disappointed. I don’t know if I will be going back anytime soon. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable, and the fact that this has happened multiple times and I was never offered anything, really...
Read moreI had a great rating I here but am taking it back since our last 2 visits. We went today 3/1/18 made our usual order as we always do approx 3X a month food was ok gravy was xxx thick but I wouldn't even mention that if I weren't wanting to express my disappointment in the owners of this place. As a customer I should be able to order what I like as long as you have it there and yes understand maybe there's a extra charge. But was informed when ordering my blizzard I could no longer have Carmel added and further informed that a employee got written up for giving me what I asked for as a customer in the past. If I needed to pay extra I would be glad to but that was not offered to me at all just that no we won't do it. Furthermore no employee should get written up for trying to make the customers happy and give them what they ask for. I know you can buy a side of camel because after eating I did that however I wanted it put into my ice cream. What's the big deal with them doing that Mr. Owner? This was just a bad visit and I didn't eat to complain anymore because my mood was already not so hot when I got there hoping to relax for a few minutes. I ordered the blizzard before the meal and it did not come when the food came I mentioned that and the hot fudge sundae I told them that wasn't right my mother who always gets hers after went ahead and kept it not to cause more problems and had to eat a totally melted sundae. When they finally brought my blizzard out they didn't even do the whole production of turning it upside down. There again I didn't want to rock the boat to much more so I didn't say anything. We as customers I believe have had a great relationship with these employees at this location as we have been going there for quite some time and have gotten to know a few of them. However they have gotten a couple of new...
Read moreMy family and I went to Dairy Queen around 8:30 p.m. and pulled into the only ordering option - drive-thru. When we finally made it to the speaker at 9:04 p.m., after only 5 cars ahead of us, we were asked what we would like. We wanted the new chicken strips. We were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait! After agreeing to the wait, the order taker suddenly decided we weren't allowed the chicken and no food could be made or dropped. The manager came onto the speaker after we were obviously upset. We were told there was a memo sent out to ALL Dairy Queens saying not to drop EXCESS food after 9 p.m. It made no difference that we had waited over 45 minutes at this point in the line that should not have taken that long. After arguing for an additional 10 minutes (by which time the chicken could have been cooked) we were offered old, cold burgers, that we still had to pay full price for. So, why is the chicken not being held if it takes 20 minutes to cook? Why after coming to the window and SEEING us in line before 9 p.m. and visibly being rude about it could we not have the chicken my child requested? Why were we, as a family, attacked by an entire crew? Over chicken? We chose to take our business elsewhere and will continue to do so after the incredible lack of customer service and common sense. This is the only Dairy Queen in a 20 mile radius and this is a sad example of what they supposedly stand for. I have managed several fast food establishments and I promise this is not the proper way to...
