EARLY BIRD EATERY — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Wish I could say what the food was like but unfortunately I can’t because we were treated terribly the moment we walked in. My fiancé and I wanted to try this place because the Benedict online looked amazing. We walked in and the lady was confused where to sit us because we had our baby’s car seat with us. 2 other groups sat after us and were given water and coffee right away. We waited 10 minutes and I asked a server if we could get coffee to which she replied “your server will be right over”. We waited an additional 10 minutes put our menus completely down and made eye contact with several people all of which ignored us. Finally we just got up and walked out after yet again a group who came in well after us was given water and we had yet to be spoken to. At one point I watch who I guess was our server roll her eyes when she looked at me. I wish there was a zero star option. Terrible...

This is my last time eating at Early Bird. Every experience has been an utter disappointment. Overpriced for what you get. None of the food served there could even be considered good. Even something as basic as waffles was really bad. The 1 regular sized chocolate chip waffle cost $13.00 for just the waffle and didn’t even have the chocolate chips baked into it just scattered on the top loosely. Hollandaise sauce is made fresh from a packet(their words, not mine). The chicken fried steak comes from a frozen patty. The food there is not fresh or good and the prices are downtown level prices. I am shocked that this place has ANY good reviews. How? The food doesn’t look anything like the photos. Price point is set as if the food is made in house, but everything is generic, frozen-to-fried food. The “tofu scramble” was chunks of wet tofu mixed with spinach. Zero seasoning. French toast was frozen and reheated. Eggs overcooked. Whole place Smelled intensely of Lysol and the server was wearing strong fragrance. Depressingly generic interior which basically screams “Cisco frozen foods here”.
