MUST READ/ BEWARE! If your “That kind of a customer” like asking if I can have someone helping my mom and me to get an item ( furniture in this case) don’t even bother to even ask because they will make you feel uncomfortable or that your request is to much or beyond them .
Definitely First and last time I go buy there!
In area of customer service and exchange had this uncomfortable and unprofessional experience 😒 I work in customer service myself ; so yes I will never and won’t disrespect my own customers . This young individuals need to learn manners , respect and get retrain .
Just to add a bit more of details about why I decided to add “ if your that kind of customer”
I asked a young girl from the section of customer service , if I could get helped in getting a piece of furniture that I was exchanging for a different one since my mother decided to change her mind . Take in mind my mom is a tiny little lady who is not strong and I mentioned If there was a chance that one of the young man could bring it to this area so I wouldn’t have to make my mom walk this enormous store ( let’s be honest I don’t mind walking but my mom is an older lady and she was just hurt from working that day ) this young lad looked at me and said : - Oh! So you are that kind of customer !
I literally felt not only embarrassed but disrespected and still can’t believe that it was to much to ask this young lady , to maybe asked one of the gentleman to help us out. I got upset and when she gave me the receipt of the purchase o had to cancel for my mother . I took quickly and abruptly from her hand and I said to her : No , I’m not that kind of customer but you are definitely rude! She got shocked and quiet ! Which I’m glad . So in other words if you are trying to help your elderly family members , don’t even take them inside the store because the policy or rule they have there is that you Must help yourself ! None of the team members can do that for u .
So there you go ; I just wanted to be honest and clear any misunderstanding about my 1 start annoying experience and this place ! Plus ever since I haven’t bought anything made from this company 🤷🏻♀️ I rather go to target or Costco to get my...
Read moreMy visit was extremely disappointing from the very beginning. The escalator to the entrance was out of service, and the elevator’s “up” button wasn’t working either. I had to take the stairs with my elderly parents, who have difficulty walking and climbing—an exhausting and frustrating start.
Once inside, we couldn’t find any accessible carts. I approached the employees stationed at the entrance, but they seemed indifferent and made no effort to assist or locate a cart for my mother. It felt dismissive and unhelpful.
Navigating the store was another challenge. The usual shortcut signs and markers were missing, forcing us to walk much farther than necessary. This was especially difficult given my parents’ mobility issues.
I was there to purchase a mattress, and after selecting one, I asked an employee how to proceed. He told me to go straight to checkout and inform the cashier. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I was told I needed to retrieve the mattress myself before checking out—completely contradicting the earlier instructions and wasting a significant amount of time.
When I finally got the mattress and returned to the checkout line, the counter I was queued at closed just as I was near the front. A new counter opened, but with only one active register, everyone rushed over. I went from being third in line to eighth or ninth, adding another 30-minute wait.
The entire experience felt chaotic and poorly managed.
To make matters worse, when I went to set up delivery, I was told the advertised $19 delivery option wasn’t available—even though it was promoted throughout the store. Multiple employees gave me conflicting explanations, and I was ultimately told that the system wouldn’t allow them to offer that rate in my area. I reluctantly paid $29 instead.
Still skeptical, I checked the online portal later and was able to schedule the same delivery for $19—proving that I was misled and overcharged in-store. It felt like I was pressured into paying more than necessary.
Overall, the visit was a complete disaster—unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating at every turn. I won’t be returning. From now on, I’ll stick to...
Read moreThe store is too big. If you have problems walking, you're in for it. I didn't see any motorized buggies or wheelchairs. Even if you take the little shortcuts, it's still a lot of walking. Also, it's easy to get turned around. I walked through one whole level after I realized what I wanted was on another level so I had to walk through twice basically. The escalators for the buggies were not working and so everyone had to wait for an elevator, resulting in about a 5 minute wait to get to your vehicle. Speaking of the buggies, the back wheels turn also so it's hard to steer. I decided I was going to purchase an entertainment center. I didn't realize the boxes were so huge and that there were 3 of them so I struggled to get them into my buggy, there was no one around to ask for help. When I got to the self checkout, it came to my attention that I had picked up two of the third box instead of the first one. The employee stood there and watched as I struggled with what I had and didn't offer to go get the right box, help me get the right box, or find someone to help me . None of the above. He really just stood there and watched me struggle.Yes, their stuff is cool and relatively inexpensive. But I hate the store and if I ever decide to shop here again, it'll be online for in store pickup. Terrible/non-existent customer service. As for the entertainment center, it was relatively easy to put together. However, I am unsatisfied with the quality of the piece of furniture. One of the pieces was warped slightly enough where it isn't completely stable. Am I going to tear the whole thing down? No, of course not, do they really expect you to do that? The "wood" is of poor quality, one piece broke off during assembly and there was a chip missing that I couldn't see from the outside of the box. You really have to have the attitude that you get what you pay for. I don't know if I'll ever be able to move it, it just didn't come together very well. Altogether, I wish I wouldn't have...
