We liked this Walmart in Steamboat Springs Colorado. It’s centrally located, and only mins away from everything in town. It’s a super center, but on a smaller scale. It’s smaller than the full sized super centers we are used too back east. Aisles are a little smaller, and some aisles weren’t wide enough for two baskets to pass by each other. Prices are about on pare with other Walmart super centers. This is a pricey area to shop in, but this Walmart keeps prices low, at a level to what we all expect at a Walmart. They also have plenty of apparel suited for the cold environment here. So if your planning a trip to Steamboat Springs CO, you don’t have to pack every piece of clothing you own. You can pack the basics and buy needed clothes and boots at Walmart. Something else we liked about this Walmart was their clearance. They had a clearance aisle like all other Walmarts, but we liked that there was clearance all throughout the store. We found some incredible deals. Lol, they had sticks of velvetta cheese clearanced for $1, usually around $7 and didn’t expire to late 2024. We grabbed 20 packs, and took them back home. We use a lot of that cheese, so we saved $120. Every employee we talked to, was very nice and helpful. It was pretty busy in there, and with smaller aisles; people were polite when having to say excuse me while trying to maneuver our baskets around. They also have some real Christmas trees...
Read moreThey have totally rearranged the floor plan at the Manchester Walmart. It was very frustrating trying to find items on my shopping list. 1 example was I was looking for the unfrozen small pizza crusts. After walking up & down the aisles for at least 10 minutes I asked 3 staff where I could find the pizza crusts. All 3 said they didn't know where they were & made no effort to help me find them. I looked around the pasta sauce area for the 3rd time with no luck. I ended leaving my full cart by produce and walked out of the store. After walking to my car & calming down I went back in & retrieved my cart. Later I was looking for shampoo & again looked up & down 2 aisles for it. There was a man working on stocking the shelves & asked him where shampoo was. He sent me to an aisle I had checked already but I thought I must have missed it. When I got to the aisle I overheard another couple talking about looking for shampoo too. We looked up & down the aisle with no results. Just as we were going to ask again, the man who had told us to look at the area we were at now directed us to the other side of the makeup aisles where the shampoo was now located. If you find it necessary to change everything in the store you need to make sure staff have the ability to direct customers to where products are located. In all I wasted 2 hrs trying the get the...
Read moreVery Rude , not friendly or professional, likes to pack up together against there customers to make themselves feel like the other workers like them and will make sure people do not feel welcomed. Watch out for 1 worker starts with a J he is the worst And loves to harass people. I have had the most miserable time ever living here for 10 years. I have watched him and others be the rudest to customers ,corner people and interrogate kids. I’ve never had any problems all of a sudden the last four months have been Hell thanks to this guy. All because my card wouldn’t work so I had to have customer service hold my items till the next day when I came back to get them, and he yelled at me with hostility as I was buying the items from the night before that I stole the items even though I left the store with nothing and was currently purchasing my items from yesterday ever since then he has had the worst little man syndrome and formed his own special Walmart loners squad and Walmart will do nothing. I have called headquarters and the manager several times nothing they don’t care their employees are allowed to put their hands on you , Yell at you , corner you , harass you and...
