The staff here has always been very friendly, however, I switched my plan from Verizon 13 months ago and was supposed to get a $700 dollar credit on a trade in for an old iPhone to get a new iPhone. I'm still waiting on that credit. AT&T customer service will not take care of this and each time I contact the store I am told that the manager has to take care of this and that she is busy with another store. I turned in an old phone that I could have done something with and still have not seen any of the credit i was promised. When I opened this account the person helping me spelled by name wrong which is still incorrect on my bills even though it has been fixed multiple times and she entered my email wrong so it took me months to get access to my online account. She put all this information in and never verified it with me before submitting it. A couple months later I took in a couple of kids watches to have activated and instead of being put on smart watch plans they were placed on full phone plans. When I went into a different store to straighten things out the guy that helped me couldn't believe how screwed up my account was. I'm very disappointed in the lack of knowledge that was used to handle my account a year ago and that lack of accountability in correcting the issue at hand. After talking hours with customer service about my trade in phone never being processed- I leaned Jo should have taken my phone then and there when I purchased my phone, she also should have helped me transfer all of my stuff to my new phone but she told me to do it at home. Because she didnât put the trade in through for my phone I now have to pay $40 extra a month and there is nothing she can do about it. After talking with multiple people on the customer service line it sounds like she is actually the ONLY person that can reverse those charges. She told me she would be âextremely pissed offâ if this happened to her but unfortunately she still couldn't do anything. She hung the phone up on me when I asked to speak with her manager (sounds like she is the manager from all these other terrible reviews about her).
I should also mention while purchasing the phone, I was trying to ask questions about new phones and everything else she barely looked at me. She didnât care to get up from her chair- instead she just yelled across the store if I had any questions.
I have already been on the line with customer service about her and have written an email to HR. If you live in steamboat- drive to a surrounding town for AT&T services, Jo and her lazy crew...
   Read moreI try to only leave positive reviews, however, consumers should be aware of this store. It has a decent rating, but I would encourage you to look at the recent reviews. Please also note that this is an authorized retailer for AT&T and NOT a factory direct store.
I interacted with the "manager" (according to her nametag) and she was incredibly rude and condescending. I don't recall her name. She wouldn't accept my phone on trade in and told me "if I had kept it in better condition it would be eligible".
Fast forward to the next day when I came off the mountain and went to my local AT&T store in Greeley. They were happy to help me. In fact, the rep told me that my Fold4 was probably in the best condition she's ever seen. She praised me for taking really good care of it, as I had.
I don't know what her deal was here, but I was not impressed. I assume, being a retailer, they took a phone they shouldn't have, didn't get paid from AT&T and now are overindexing on it. That being said, she could've used her manners, and she could've tried to offer a solution.
Again, in and out at my local store. Waste of a trip and unnecessary frustration from a negative interaction with someone who shouldn't be...
