Cross contamination and the lack of quality control seems to be the theme for this Sub Shop . Not one of the employees had gloves on and were continuously touching personal phones , counter tops , cash , and other non food related items and then handling food with no regard for cleanliness . My first visit will be my last considering the disgusting quality control or lack there of. When I got home I noticed with no surprise that they had messed up my order . I had asked for no lettuce or cheese on my sub and sure enough there was an excess of both and not much else on the Sub . The cheese was melted over everything and the lettuce was wilted beyond anything that would be considered edible. The very young staff were very friendly when I called to let them know and they offered to give me a free Sub for the mistake , but the thought of actually eating something that came from this shop makes me gag . There is potential for this shop to make great food , but not at the hands of the current employees and the management clearly doesn't care enough to enforce any form of standards. I come across hundreds of people everyday in my profession and people ask me all the time where is a great place to eat and I can say for certain I will never suggest this Sub Shop and would highly discourage anyone from stepping foot inside . Becareful Steamboat , if you leave a review they don't like they will post your personal information and fail to attempt to have you doxxed and personally attacked ! A real...
Read moreCruisers Sub Shop, you were next on my quest to try every eatery in Steamboat and rate my experience. I was actually going to eat at the Drunken Onion today, but your store front caught my eye so I swapped. I promise ill get to you Drunken Onion.
The atmosphere in Cruisers sub shop will take you to the beaches of California, and even with a long line the shop seems calm. There are plenty if options on the menu to choose from and I would say prices are reasonable for what you are getting. I got the Italian sub today and it did not disappoint, the sub flavors were well balanced and it had a hint of spice that was a plesant surprise. The staff were very friendly, and greeted me the second I walked through the door and even complemented me on my wardrobe 😃. I'm intrested in what the owner is doing with their staff as this is the first place I've been to that appeared to be fully staffed, so good job to you. My food was prepared in a timely manner and it didn't take too long to get my sub. I fortunately arrived right before the lunch rush and as I'm writing this the place is packed so you may have to wait for your food to be prepared, but believe me when I say its totally worth it.
I rarely give out 5 stars, as I save those for places that truly deserve it, and congratulations Cruisers you have proven...
Read moreThis place is such a vibe!!! Top notch service, everybody here is phenomenal, as a regular I hadn’t been in to eat in a fair amount of time, as soon as I stepped foot in the door I was greeted by the crew. You’re always made to feel welcomed here, and they go above and beyond to ensure they get it right! The food is always impeccable. My personal favorite “The Mikey Bowl” is a peanut butter and banana base consistency topped with fruit, honey, and granola, and you can’t go wrong with any of the smoothies or açaí bowls either. The subs, breakfast sandwiches, and toasted peanut butter and jelly make this a phenomenal spot for families as they have options for Grandpa all the way down to the toddlers. Sure to Please Undoubtedly!! The atmosphere is one of the best you will ever encounter in any Sub Shop. The music is ALWAYS tasteful, vibey, and at the perfect volume. I often find myself vibing/dancing in place and have regularly seen many other customers do so as well. The artwork and their charity causes that they are affiliated with just add to the atmosphere making this place somewhere I just naturally “want to be” which makes a quick bite to eat an easy decision in “THE BOAT.” Easily my favorite eats spot in...
