In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, a group of us parents took up a collection to order Chips & Dips; specifically, four boxes.
Upon arriving, the store did not have my order ready. You could tell they were scrambling at the last minute to put something together. I should have received one of each of the four salsas, one guacamole, plus the chips. Instead, they provided me two boxes with an extra bag of chips and insisted everything was in there. With a quick glance, I thought it was.
What I actually received was four regular bags of chips plus a random extra bag, four guacamole, one large container of each of the four salsas. We also received one bag of utensils. There are two problems here. One, there is a reason I ordered four boxes. These were going to different locations. They were not all going to the same place. This meant I had to try and split up the contents myself. But how am I supposed to split up the salsa’s when I only received one large container of each?
Additionally, I feel like I got “shorted”. Granted, I don’t know exactly how many bags of chips are supposed to come in each box. But does one large container of salsa equal four regular containers? It leaves me wondering.
Aside from the $200+ price tag, I’m embarrassed to deliver what I did on behalf of the schools. I’m also embarrassed on behalf of the other parents we collected from.
Prior to picking up the boxes, I ate my own lunch in the same store. The grill wasn’t even going yet which made me understand why the food tasted so old. Read moreI was picking up an online order at 9:20PM. When I pulled up to the drive-through window, the employee asked me my first name and handed me my food. When I got home, I realized the order was not mine at all however, this person had the same first name as me. I unfortunately had to drive back to the restaurant to get my correct order. When I arrived, I spoke to the manager and told her that this order was not mine. She went to the drive-through window and grabbed my order that had been sitting there for a good 30 minutes. The time is now 10PM. I asked her if she could please remake the food because it had been sitting there for a while. She gave me a look of an annoyance and told me I had to go to the back of the line to re-order my bowl. I was very upset and told her that I was not gonna go to the back of the line. She told me it was because she was the only person there however, there were five other employees at the restaurant. Then she proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that I did not get the right order because I didn’t verify my last name. I then told her that I was never asked to verify my last name for my pick-up order by her employee. I also told her I’m not going to the back of the line and if she could please make my bowl. She deliberately took another customers order in front of me and gave him great food proportions in his bowl. When she was re-making my bowl after she gave me smaller proportions of food purposely. Read moreMy last order from today seriously failed to meet the standard. I ordered in the app, said it should be ready 1:50, I arrived at 2:30 and then waited at the drive up window for 15 mins because they hadn’t made my order. When I got home and opened it to dig in, two problems, the restaurant completely left out my protien (chck #2,) and the rice was entirely too salty. But mostly I was disappointed they forgot my chicken, after they completely forgot to make my order.
So I packed it up and headed back to the restaurant where I let them know my chicken was missing and if they would remake it. I also asked to speak with the manager, (I believe her name was) Kathrine, who informed me, that because I orders through the app, she could not offer me a refund, so I simply asked for a voucher and she told me that she “didn’t have any.” She offered to merely remake it, and had no other solution.
This was one of the most negative experiences I have had with this chain, and I will not return. Too many negative experiences in the past and this on sealed it for me… Well Chipotle, we had a good run, but nothing lasts...
