I have been trying to get in touch with the owner for a little over a month now over 2 separate canceled orders that were both wrong. Tropical smoothie delivers through a 3rd party company (doordash), which i was able to easily get in touch with to cancel my order, but because the orders were made directly through tropical smoothie's app, they have to send the refund. To this day, an entire MONTH later, i have NO REFUND for $50 worth of food i never got, despite calling over 5 times now, leaving my name & number each time, & cancelations being initiated by doordash. I have received absolutely no help from the staff at this location. This is the one & only place I've ever dealt with where the customer service representatives aren't even allowed to give their 1st names for "security purposes" so I have no idea who I've even talked to & the owner has been unreachable, as they never know when he'll even be there, & has made no attempt to get back in touch with me. So at this point, I'm 100% sure I'm being given the run around, just as I'm sure that any acknowledgment made will be the same automated apology that every single complaint I've seen receives. It's such a disappointment because I used to love tropical smoothie, & this location received a majority of my business over the years, but this whole experience has turned me off to the company in general, especially since they don't even have a corporate number to get in touch with & any reviews have to be left through an automated system. To any future delivery customers, i highly suggest you don't order for delivery here because even if it's wrong, you will never see your money again or receive any direct help from anyone that can do absolutely anything for you. To in-store customers, make sure you're taking a good look at your food...
Read moreShould be less than 1 Manager thought it was more important to have a staff meeting within customer area and only had 1 employee trying to take care of customers orders. The girls were nice and the manager became hostile when I tried to explain the importance of customers being 1st. Having a staff meeting is very important at the beginning of shifts...however, there should have been a cross-over so there would be staff behind the counter assisting customers. Easy solution...have 1/2 of the staff in a meering at a time or make sure earlier shift stays over to cover. Also having staff meetings in the customer area is unprofessional. He was not interested in listening to a customer point of view, rather spewd a list of excuses and then went about his business. I had tried to ask him for a business card and was ignored so I asked the staff and they didnt know. Again he was not interested in even listening to a customer point of view and was very dismissive and refunded money....which I did not ask for nor want and then told me to leave. I gave the order money to the girl that was actually assisting me. In trying to have a conversation the manager stood so far away that it was impossible to have a quiet conversation. He continued to say how rude I was when he wouldn't even let me say anything. He just continued talking over me...that is rude and unprofessional. Read moreThat place is full a teenagers that doesn’t even welcome you. My açaí took for ever, I stand there for a while no one asked me if I was helped or needed anything. They were all on their cellphone like they were just chillin in their house. Then later than the scheduled time an employee literally put in a bad way my pick-up order, like hello I’m standing right there I can see you plus I see how slowwww he was making that açaí bowl like maybe waiting for his lunch time or something so time could pass by. I asked for extra Nutella no extra Nutella was there even tho I paid for it. No silverware was in the bag either. These teenagers need to know what customer service is. Management think about this before you even hire a bunch of kids that don’t care about your customers. Plus the place smell weird and the young lady in cashier “taking care” of a customer was yelling to her co worker to heat the food because she wanted some of it with the customer there looking at her.
