The only thing that was consistent with this property were the apologies and responses to my numerous complaints. My family and I stayed at this property initially I was so excited. Seeing the pictures it looked perfect. If I'd know it wasn't managed by the owner I wouldn't have rented it. I moved to fast. I try to stay away from properties that are managed by company's due to the lack of customer service. Most private owners are very personable and provide excellent service. This property is managed by Florida (Reunion) Vacation Homes and they managed to send apologies but didn’t deliver on any requests or complaints. They stated that a work order would be left after the maintenance man entered. They sent a log in saying he was in the home while we were gone. Meanwhile we were at the park and our personal belongings were there. When I questioned why wasn't a work order left I even asked for a log of who entered the home. They produced the log but couldn't explain why the toilet was still leaking, the rail was still missing, the TV in the loft wasn't working nor was the lamp. So what did he do? Walk in and back out I guess. My family and I basically rented a home that looked beautiful on the internet and was different in person. The furniture and rooms matched the description however the walls were scratched in numerous areas. I took photos and videos after I received an email about reporting damage within 24 hours. The staff at Florida (Reunion) Vacation Homes responded promptly to every email however they didn't fix any of the issues. I spoke to one manager that stated they have 48hours and another that stated they had 24 hours. We were there 6 days..... When we left the same issues were left there. The toilet was leaking water I guess that wasn't an emergency. The stairs were missing a rail which is a safety hazard. One of the blue chairs in the living area had a huge rip on it. One of the toilets had a huge stain but was taped with a cleaned and sanitized label. The Tvs were all smart Tvs with no live access so my husband and son couldn't watch any of the championship games. The bathroom door in the master wouldn't stay shut even after I locked it. The TV in the Loft area never worked. After I emailed Florida Vacation Homes they stated that they fixed it along with a lamp in one of the bedrooms but that was a lie. We have the video to prove it. What is the cleaning fee in place for if we are asked to wash towels. Strip the beds of all units etc. We get taking out the trash. But what does the cleaning fee cover? It made me think do they even wash the comforters? Or do they just wash the sheets? They're language changed when I asked for a partial refund. Staying in this property reminded me of staying in an apartment with bad management or landlords. I think that Airbnb needs to remove this property until the railing is replaced and the issues are fixed. I also feel that we as renters should have something in place that protect us from slumlords that refuse to compensate. I think it's arrogant to place a property online charge upfront only to abandon your end of the bargain. The manager stated that they couldn't honor a refund because the time limit wasn't up. She also stated that due to the holiday no one was available. I feel that my family and I should've been moved. I sent numerous pictures of damages and literally had to email them everyday. The only thing that I can say that wasn't a disappointment was the children rooms and the beds slept comfortably. I didn't plan to be ripped off, ignored and disregarded if you rent this home 2419 Dubai Street you are taking a chance that you may be treated the same. Rent this home at your own risk. No one goes on vacation to spend most of their time trying to figure out how to work a television. Meanwhile trying to make sure your small children don't slip through the spot on the stairs where a railing should be. The apologies didn't override the inconvenience and didn't lead to any results. That's the issue.

Our family regularly vacations to FL and rents homes. This will be the one and ONLY time we choose Reunion Resort. We are currently here, on day 4 of our 5 day vacation. We chose this house for 2 main reasons - the arcade and the pool. It’s mid-March so we paid to have the pool heated. It’s not been heated at all for our stay. We’ve called everyday, and each day we’ve been told “tomorrow someone will come.” They close out the tickets or tell us it’s not a priority. For example, we called Saturday evening (we called in the morning, they told us to be patient so we did) Saturday evening they guaranteed someone would be there the next day. The next morning I called to confirm, they said “no one is scheduled to come, there are no open tickets for you home. The one that was open yesterday was closed last night at 6:44pm”. Meanwhile, I have kids asking me “mom, when are they going to fix the pool?” When we arrived, the pool and deck were COVERED in leaves. I didn’t expect to arrive on vacation and spend the first 2 hours cleaning our rental. Beyond all that, this is a “luxury” unit and they said it’s one of our “elite” units. It’s not, the place in general shows significant ‘wear and tear’, paint pealing from the bathroom tiles, dirt stains on doors near handles, and the kitchen is not well stocked with basics you need to cook for a week. I could have looked past all this if we had received what we paid for, a heated pool. They have offered to refund us for 2 days of the $30/day pool heat fee. This is unacceptable. Our vacation tradition as a family is to hang out at our pool during the day and spend the evenings laughing and sharing stories in the hot tub. We invest extra on a home with a great pool and outdoor space bc it gives us plenty to do. Now we are having to find new ways to fill our days…and more money on going to do activities. We’ve stayed in many Florida rentals, this one is disappointing. We did not get what we paid for. At the end of the day, they had the opportunity to address our concerns, and they did not. UPDATE: Their response on these threads is not genuine, this is the number we have been calling and continue to get the runaround. They do not care about their guests experience, just that they get your money. UPDATE: Day 5, last full day of our vacation. Called management again today to check on pool heat. They now tell us the heater has malfunctioned and needs replaced. We will not be able to use the pool or spa for the duration of our vacation. Had they addressed our concerns promptly when we first reported it, this could have been resolved sooner. This is a profession vacation rental home business, it should not take 5 days to address a pool issue.

My daughter and her husband rented a unit from Florida Vacation Homes in Reunion, FL June 13 - 16. The unit looked fine when we arrived, however after 20 minutes of walking barefoot on the floors our feet were filthy. It was so bad, that I went to the store and washed the floor twice and quite frankly it could have been washed again. It took 11 swifter pads! The pads were all filthy. There was no "Kitchen Guest Welcome Pack" as promised, the TV in the small king guest room did not work, as well as the ceiling fan in that room. There was no shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash as promised. They promised toilet paper rolls, but while the three bathrooms had toilet paper, only about 1/4 roll remained at best, barely enough to get us through the first night. One of the pillows and pillowcases on one of the king beds was stained and the linens on that bed were queen sized and did not fit the bed properly. Housekeeping came and took the pillow. They also left 2 small bars of soap, but no other supplies. When asked about toilet paper, the woman was rude and said you get what you get. The following day, I went to the real estate office, and they gave me the "Kitchen Guest Welcome Pack" and one small shampoo, one body wash, one conditioner and 2 more small bars of soap. There are 3 bathrooms. A handyman showed up later that day with clean pillowcases, but no pillow to put them on and stated that housekeeping was bringing the pillow. Housekeeping never brought a replacement pillow. The handyman put new batteries in a TV remote, did not fix the fan and left. When we turned on the TV to watch later in the day, it was set to the wrong time zone, 2 hours behind. We also noticed cigarette butts and popsicle sticks in the mulch just off the patio. Honestly, I am not a picky person, travel a lot and have stayed at plenty of different kinds of places, including tents, yurts and boats, and Motel 6s, but this was more than disappointing, and it definitely impacted the overall feeling of our vacation in a negative way. I can understand one or two things needing attention, stuff happens, but the lack of care, attitude and response from Florida Vacation Homes was ridiculously poor. This was true both before we arrived (the poor unit preparation) and after (interaction with the staff). They didn't seem to care at the time. Update 17 June: I want to thank the General Manager for reaching out and taking the time to talk with me about our experience and she validated our concerns. I'm confident that she will address these issues for future guests.

I'm hoping that other posters will see my Review and contact me, because I have no intention of walking away silently from my experience. I, too, have had to experience this atrocity of a management company. Being in the real estate management industry for over 10 years and managing properties, high rises and communities I can say emphatically, this firm has to be stopped, NOW! Beyond poor customer service, my question extends to their duties under Florida Law to their clients and the general public. I can assure you beginning Monday morning I will crawl through every hole necessary, to find out what if any legal action can be taken against them. Its not fair nor is it right for a company to exploit people in this way. Sometimes it takes a legal fight to get the attention of a company like this one. Im just the person for such a fight. My experience is no different than the other 1 star reviews here. I reserved a home. Paid in full, signed the agreement. The day before my trip I was notified that the home that was posted on their website as AVAILABLE was "not accepting reservations". From the beginning I believed there was a problem I just wasn't sure what the problem was. Daniel went on to tell me that he was "sure I could understand the homeowners concerns with COVID19". SURE I COULD! But my question is why post the home at all if COVID19 is a concern....I should have asked for a refund in that moment. Instead my daughter, nieces and nephew were so excited about getting out of the house that I was willing to accept a property they claimed was "comparable " to the one I reserved. What a COMPLETE LIE!! The property was disgustingly dirty. I went out and bought house shoes for all the kids because I wasn't confident socks would keep their feet protected enough. When all else failed I CLEANED the floor downstairs in a blazing hot house where there wss no air. 87 degrees, in Florida!! Its now day 2 of my 6 day stay I STILL havent heard back from this company. The air STILL doesn't work...

Im working now to relocate my family to another home but I will absolutely pursue a full refund of my money plus any costs I incur to get it back.

I have so many complaints I hardly know where to begin. I cleaned the entire house...all 3000+ sq feet including 6 bathrooms on the day I arrived. The kids couldn't safely get in bed until after midnight but that was cool with them lol. I also had to go out to the pool and clean the patio furniture of spiders and webs and mold/dirt which was so thick it looked as though it had never been cleaned. Now, WHY would I be responsible for a 300 cleaning fee for a home which wasnt clean when I came in to it...? Im also curious what this company is actually doing with the cleaning fees they collect because it sure as heck doesnt appear they are actually paying to have these homes cleaned.

There is mold around the air vent downstairs which makes sense because the room is stifling hot and florida heat requires good air circulation inside....mold will most definitely grow in the conditions of the lower level of this house. In the process of doing all this cleaning, I called and emailed this company repeatedly with no return call, no email, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Its now 9:30 AM and their emergency line has YET to return my call. I question if anyone has ever reached anyone outside of business hours? I'd love to know, because to me it looks as though they claim in their advertisement to have emergency after hours when in fact they don't. Please believe I will do all that I can to find out. I further question if the owners of this and other properties know just how poorly this company seems to be handling things. I can assure you I definitely know how to find owner contact information and I will most certainly be searching for the actual owner to correspond with directly, regarding my experience. I am so incredibly dissatisfied. I started to leave last night but the kids were so heartbroken which makes the experience all the more terrible! Shame on you Reunion...

We spent a week at Reunion Resort to celebrate 40th birthdays with two families. We were very excited to secure a property that looked like the ideal destination for six kids and four adults. It was certainly a splurge but the on-site pool and large home sold us.

Unfortunately, our one week visit was dominated by disappointing and frustrating issues with the property that took so much away from our vacation.

When we checked in our hot tub was entirely drained, the water level was super low in the pool and the yard was not clean or maintained. Six children were immediately disappointed when swimming wasn't possible. We had this problem throughout the week and had to call in for maintenance multiple times. We paid for pool heat but it never worked until the last night when the water level was finally high enough to overflow from the spa and heat the pool appropriately. The main pool was freezing cold for the entire visit and at a dangerously shallow level for children.

We never used the pool in the backyard because of these issues and swam in the community pool every day. We booked a property with a pool so that younger kids could nap, we could make lunch etc. without having to go anywhere. The community pool was lovely but it completely changed our vacation plans.

At check-in, we also did not feel like the home was cleaned in an appropriate way. The bathtubs had hair in them and thick grime, there were dust bunnies all over the floor, the floors made our feet dirty as they clearly were not mopped well and the railings, light switches etc. were filthy when we wiped them down. All bath mats were obviously not washed between guests and were stained and old. We spent a lot of time cleaning upon arrival and never felt relaxed because of the generally dirty state of the property.

The one master suite on the main floor was entirely unusable as it smelled like mould and mildew and there was visible mould on the ottoman. One of the couples had to sleep in a room upstairs even though we purposefully booked a property with two grand, master suites. The guest house promised in the listing wasn't even accessible with our code reducing the square footage even more.

Issues continued throughout the home/week. Our oven never worked for the entire stay which made cooking for ten very challenging. The toaster was broken and we had to call for a replacement. None of the AV equipment was set up (even in the large movie room) so we had to troubleshoot on our vacation time to watch tv. The air hockey table didn't work, the video game unit wasn't set up, and the arcade game buttons were broken. These were all items that we paid to use in our high rental fee.

We even had to call maintenance to repair the lock on the sliding door that led to the pool as it wouldn't lock. Even after their visit, it was very challenging to lock the slider. With six small children in the house, this was shocking to us that the pool access door was unsafe.

The wifi was so spotty that we weren't able to use our baby monitor so the adults could relax during nap and sleep times knowing that our baby was safe. The tap in the powder room was broken, lights in closets were out, wine glasses were chipped or entirely broken and stored in cupboards, the BBQ was filthy, there was no vacuum available to clean up after children and the toilet in the queen room upstairs wouldn't flush most of the time.

This was an expensive property and the maintenance, cleanliness, and access to the advertised amenities did not reflect this at all.

When I contacted management this was their response:

Good afternoon, Thank you for your patience, I just spoke to the management team for them to provide an update. Per management, there will be no compensation. Work orders were submitted and our Property Care Team members did go out to the property and fix the items reported.

We would recommend that you use extreme caution booking with this company and this was such a bad experience for...
