Jameson’s Pub in Frankfort has long been one of my go-to spots, and after many visits, I can confidently say it delivers consistent quality, a welcoming atmosphere, and a menu that keeps you coming back.

During a recent lunch visit, I enjoyed a solid mix of pub favorites: wings, a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, a Reuben Sandwich, and Baby Back Ribs. Every dish hit the mark. The wings were crisp and flavorful, the wrap had just the right amount of heat and crunch, the Reuben was rich without being greasy, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in preparing classic comfort food well.

The drinks were just as enjoyable. The lemonade was refreshing and balanced, and the Moscow Mule came in the signature copper mug, with a bold ginger bite and smooth finish. With a huge drink menu, there’s something for every taste—from local brews to cocktails and spirits.

Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, taking time to explain the menu and offering great suggestions without being pushy. It's that kind of service that makes a place feel like a local favorite.

The atmosphere is casual and lively, with background music that isn’t too loud, though the overall noise level can rise, especially in the evenings when the place fills up. It’s definitely a social, energetic vibe—but still manageable for conversation.

There’s plenty of parking, though it does fill up fast, especially on weekends or game nights. The space is wheelchair accessible, and it’s also very kid-friendly, making it a solid option for families as well as groups of friends.

If I had one suggestion, it would be for the menu to include more gluten-free options, particularly something rice-based for those avoiding wheat. With such a large menu already, a few additions would go a long way in accommodating dietary needs.

Well let's just start by saying I had an order here for Uber eats and I picked it up I talked to people coming out and I asked was the food good? a guy coming out of the restaurant said yes! he went on and on about how good this food was so after I delivered the food that was ordered I decided to place an order of my own and let's just say it did not disappoint! the food that I ordered was the carbonara pasta with angel hair it had delicious tender chunks of chicken onions big pieces of delicious bacon I had shrimp added to it it was succulent the creamy alfredo sauce and parmesan cheese put the finishing touches on it it was the most delicious carbonara that I've ever had in my life I also ordered the chili the chili was so stinking good I have never had chili like this not even at home lol ..this chili is award-winning I would eat this chili on a cold night curled up in front of the fireplace with a good book this chili didn't need any sour cream or crackers it was cheesy it was meaty savory and it even had scallions on it it was the best chili hands down that I've ever had from a restaurant I also ordered their fettuccine with chicken the tender pieces of chicken once again was the star of the show It had broccoli in it.. the garlic bread adorned it it was absolutely magnificent along with their tantalizing Caesar salad this place is the awesome! just based off of those few items that I ordered I know the rest of their menu is bomb ! The food was amazingly delicious and I took it to go I ate right there with my best friend in the car and we could not stop ranting and raving about how good it is I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu I recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious quality hot food you got my seal of...

After a busy afternoon, I decided to find out why the parking lot at this restaurant was always packed. Well, now I know why! The food is fabulous! At least what I ordered was, that's for sure! I had the Wednesday ribs that came with a side, and a soup or salad. I washed it down with lemonade, as I don't fancy beer, and Jameson's is a pub. I must say the ribs did not disappoint! They were tender, and seasoned perfectly. The sauce was just right, and not overpowering. I selected steamed broccoli as my side. It was fresh, steamed perfectly as well! Heck, even the lemonade was good! I definitely plan to return to try other offerings on the menu. My server was Laura, and as busy as she was, she made sure to check on me often. They have a daily special menu. Besides delicious ribs, they also serve appetizers, salads, soups, chili, wraps, deli style sandwiches, hot sandwiches, pasta, and twenty sides to chose from. Being a pub, they have beers, but also other spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. They have high chairs, the bathrooms are handicapped accessible. There is plenty of off the street parking in their private parking lot that also has handicapped parking spaces...
