Stormcloud Brewing Company — Restaurant in Frankfort

This place can get real busy and for good reason. My wife and I visited stormcloud Brewing Company primarily because I noticed that it serves Dubbels, Tripels, and Belgian Strong Ales. I drank one of each and was greeted with nothing but top-notch flavor. In addition to that, the service is phenomenal. The food tastes great and the atmosphere is fun.

For dinner, my wife and I shared a meat lovers Pizza along with a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. For an appetizer, we ate garlic parmesan popcorn. All three Foods were phenomenal. Lots of flavor and unique tastes separating them from other restaurants. I especially enjoyed the barbecue pulled pork. The barbecue is house-made and has a somewhat sweet taste to it.

Our server was Kristyn. She was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond making sure we were satisfied with our visit. She was sweet and professional on top of working hard. Kristyn took allergies very seriously and made sure I was comfortable with my choices. Overall, she did a fantastic job representing Stormcloud Brewing Company.

Two things I would love to see in the future is a Quad beer and more varieties of six packs that sucks from out of town can take home.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience here on the 4th. It was busy, I get that, but our waiter was short with us from the beginning. We ordered our drinks and received those relatively quickly. Then we waited for 15 minutes before our food order was taken. We ordered an appetizer and 5 meals. Then we waited. And waited. Didn’t really see our waiter for about 30-40 minutes. We snagged him at one pint as he passed to ask about our appetizer. He looked annoyed and said he’d check on it. We waited another 20 minutes with two hungry young kids before we were able to find the waiter again and inquire about the food. The waiter finally came to our table and told us that the food order had been missed and they were busy so it would be another hour before our food would be ready. We had been there for over an hour already! No apology, no offer to rush the order, no offer to try to make it right. Just a too bad for you attitude. We got up to leave and my husband went to find the manager. The manager also did not offer an apology or a way to make it right. It was surreal. We left and found a fantastic meal at the taco food truck by the beach. Should have started there I guess. I’m sure the food and beer is good at Stormcloud, but I cannot...

The whitefish spread appetizer is delicious!!! The beer cheese and chips was not. The cheese was bland and the tortilla chips came straight out of a bag. Four of us went. We each got a pizza. We all loved them! The one with apples, the pesto with chicken and the Thai curry with shrimp. They were good. Our waitress wasn't kind. She was first rude when taking our drink order. We all told her what we wanted. Two of us were side chatting, the waitress went to repeat the drink order (because she wasn't writing anything down), the two people were chatting because they already gave their order, the waitress interrupted and said "I have other tables", recapped our order and walked away. Totally uncalled for. Our apps came from a food runner. The waitress never came to ask us if everything was ok. We were done with the apps for a good 15 minutes before she finally took our dinner order. They weren't busy either. When we asked for silverware after our food was delivered, her response was "with pizza?" We had to answer her "yes" before she would get us silverware. Mind you, the silverware was wrapped in a napkin also so we didn't have a napkin either. I won't ever go back to this place. Negatives out weigh the few positives. And nothing worse than having a...
