If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would. This is, hands down, the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you are transported into an atmosphere of pure class. The lighting, the furniture, the spotless cleanliness, everything is meticulously curated to make you feel like you’re in for something special. The staff, dressed in all black suits, add to the elegance, and the little lamp at each table creates the perfect candlelit ambiance without the actual candle.
Now, let’s talk about the service, because wow. The moment I sat down, my server pulled out my chair like a complete gentleman. Then, he carefully unfolded the napkin and placed it on my lap (and my friend’s lap, too). He poured the water into our glasses from a beautiful bottle before presenting each dish in front of us with the utmost care. Throughout the meal, the attentiveness was next level. They checked in, but never hovered, making sure everything was perfect. And to top it off, a lovely woman came over to chat with us, she was so warm and engaging, making us feel truly welcome.
The food? Absolutely unreal. Creamy doesn’t even begin to describe the richness of the flavors here. The goat? Perfectly tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The rice? Cooked just right. The garlic naan? Crispy on the edges, fluffy in the center, exactly how it should be. The paneer? Incredible, with the perfect touch of spice in the sauce. This place also had the best Mango Lassi I’ve ever had. Every single dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
And let me just say, these people pay attention. My friend and I are Latinas, and for dessert, they surprised us with a tres leches-inspired treat. That little touch made our night. It was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to end an already perfect meal.
I’m still raving about this place because it deserves it. The food, the service, the ambiance, everything was beyond amazing. If you’re thinking about coming here, do it. You will...
Read moreI was so looking forward to having their thali and well, honestly the food didn’t disappoint, but the very thought of coming back here makes me dread. The server made me feel very uncomfortable. So this server Nikhil starts talking to us asking about food and the area and restaurants all around. And then he starts praising other restaurants over Bhog. Here’s where the experience starts to get uncomfortable. He starts to ask about us, where we live, what we do etc… and he’s getting into tiny details and I’m really not keen on answering. We’re trying to be polite and give vague replies, and ask to let us eat. He returns and starts talking nonstop to us again. Now if I’m with someone else having lunch, please tell me why’d I be interested in talking to this guy! Then he starts to tell us there was this other super upscale restaurant close by and comments that my my guest and I wouldn’t even be allowed there because we didn’t look presentable and that such clothes aren’t permitted there. Mind you I was wearing a beautiful set of culottes and a crisp linen white top. And I don’t even need to justify this, but to comment on my dressing like that. My biggest mistake was to let this slide. He keeps coming back to our table, and now the pestering is just so off-putting I don’t feel like eating! He waited for my partner to leave the table and then came back and started asking where I work and what I do. I started to get even more uncomfortable. I’ve never left such a review at any restaurant because I never was made to feel this uncomfortable. I don’t want to go to bhog because I know that guy will be there and I simply don’t want more unpleasantness and this level...
Read moreWe drove all the way from Jersey City to this place and I would just say that - The Food was amazing !! All the servers specially 'Hari' and 'Basanth' were very friendly as well as aware of the dining service making sure customer satisfaction was reached. Was really an eye opener to me. The food quality as well as the serving sizes were great. Went with my family and recommended it to many friends who gave me nothing but just amazing positive feedback. Food was brought to the table accordingly manner. Drinks (Mango Mojito, Spiced Guava) were on time and splendid. Just the right recipes to make satisfy your great appetite. Had their Jeedipappu Kodu Pakodi(Cashew) as a starter, was recommended by the server (Great Choice) also wanted to try the most talked about Non Vegetarian Thali which is mind blowing. Did not know what the hype was until I tried one and wow. Definitely did look up to expectations. Also had Masala Roast Chicken and Veyinchina Mamsam(Goat/Lamb) which is with perfect amount of meats. Must I say a explosion of different wonderful spices and flavors. Desserts are the Scrumptious which you cannot afford to miss it. Most definitely will return with my friends and would highly recommend for families looking to have a great outing. They are also opening a Banquet hall soon which would be a definitely a good surplus for any event/gatherings to have in combination with this Amazing food with great Ambience.
