I have not felt so discriminated against in my entire life...I went in for a light dinner by myself my server Katie was horrible I waited 12 minutes until I was approached with a glass of water at which point she said "are you ready to order?" I said well I wanted to do an appetizer and she was like "so you're not ready then?" At taht point I knew what was going on so I just ordered the calamari and told her that would be all she never introduced herself I had to ask the host her name on my way out I myself am a waiter and a very good tipper but I was horrified and the problem literally was they saw a black man and immediately decided I wasn't worth hospitality or service fit for a dog. The calamari was extremely undercooked and bland. She never came back to the table so I just left $25 on the table and left. Here's the twist I was only there to get a feel for the food and atmosphere because I had an interview coming up and wanted to see what kind of place it was I had never been there before and won't be back. Anyways 3 days later was interview...I told the host (ironically the same young dude with glasses from a few days before) he recognized me and said "oh you're back?" I said "yes I have an interview" I watched him tell the 2 middle aged white men I was here they looked kind of motioned to someone then I literally waited 20 minutes before the "manager" came to interview me. You guessed it...it was Katie my server like wow really????? Who was in her server uniform she didn't even recognize me I swear I can't make this up about 2 minutes in I asked for a Coke she went to get it I looked at her clipboard that literally had a blank piece of paper on it when she got back I simply said "I'm sorry for wasting my time coming here please throw that blank piece of paper away and by the way you were my server 3 days ago and tell those 2 managers I said have a nice day she looked stunned and I walked out so if you are black trust me they don't want you eating or working there they made that...
Read moreBEWARE!!!! There is a professional pickpocket ring working this restaurant. We had lunch there on Friday, December 9, 2022. We were sitting at a table, people were seated directly behind us. The waiter who seated them, was standing almost between the chairs, where my mom was sitting and the person directly behind her. My mom, unfortunately, had her purse hanging on the back of her chair underneath her coat, which was also hanging on her chair. She initially felt a big bump against her back, but thought the person behind her was adjusting their chair, so she shifted her chair forward closer to the table. When mom said something about getting bumped from behind, my sister asked her where her purse was. She said it's here, and held it up from where it was hanging. She noticed it was unzipped, she always keeps it zipped, but her wallet was there and it was zipped closed, so she didn't say anything. At that point the waiter who was assigned to the table wanted to know why this other waiter was at his table. The 1st waiter said he was just helping out. The 2nd waiter said he could take care of his own tables, then the 1st waiter walked away. At that point the 2nd waiter tried to get the table's order and at some point they got up and just left the restaurant, they didn't stay to get their order. We then finished up our meal, paid and left. When we got in the car, my mom received a text message from her bank wanting to verify a $1800 purchase at an AT&T store. She texted NO. We immediately went to her bank, she spoke with a bank rep. She opened her wallet and all her bank cards were gone. In the meantime she's getting alerts from her other cards. Thankfully, the pickpocket was unable to use her cards because as soon as she answered NO to the text alerts, the cards were frozen. We returned to the restaurant to alert the manager but he blew us off. So just a warning this is happening and can happen...
Read moreThis was the first place we experienced after landing in Nashville. Reuben was our waiter and is the rudest person I have ever encountered in customer service. 1 1/2 hours before they close and he started out by complaining to us that we were causing him to work harder than usual because of our presence there, and a large group that had walked in right before us… dude it is your job, and two people wanting to eat at the restaurant in which you work is not our problem. While ordering drinks I originally asked for a 6 oz. And then 10 seconds later said you know what I might as well just get the 9 oz. He then said, “are you serious?… and I just sent in the 6 oz to the back…” he then scoffed and stood there, as though hoping I would say nevermind the 6 oz is fine. He then scoffed again just standing there staring at me. After I said yup the 9 oz he scoffed and told us we needed to order immediately because he wasn’t going to have time to get our order later because of the large group. So we then had to decide on the spot what we wanted, he then said okay and walked off… how incredibly rude. If I were his manager and I saw him do this in real time I would have pulled him in the back and fired him on the spot. Then I would have comped our meal as an apology, that is how bad this interaction was. We then watched him be incredibly rude to the large group that looked like they came from a wedding. My wife and I kept looking at each other every time he was rude to someone and said, did he really just say that??? By far the rudest treatment we have ever received at a restaurant before. I hope the dude doesn’t last long, maybe he needs to find a desk job elsewhere where he has no interaction with the public. Also, wife’s chicken Bryan was cold for the first time ever, and she used to eat at this chain growing up.
Edit: reached out as instructed and ignored. Nobody even...
