Loved it! My first time since they opened. Wish I would have taken pictures of this place. I will next time. I will be going back soon. I had an apple fritter! It was amazing. They bake everything in house. They told me they close when they sell out. So ya gotta get there early. The Frappuccino was great as well. Prices are fair. All in all a great experience. Took some apple fritters to go! Raves on those! Thanks ☺️ be back soon!
Update; Now several times later here I am having ate 2 huge doughnuts with ...absolutely no guilt!
New update; I had to change my star rating.😒 First off, I am leaving this review close to a month after the service I received. Took me a minute to think about posting because a review can literally impact businesses. After my latest interaction with this Donut Shop, It left me super bummed out. Hurt my feelings really. You are probably thinking...if you are reading this that, "big deal", it's, "just donuts".😒... Well, it started a week or so before Valentines day. I Went in to grab a coffee and a couple donuts and before I knew it i drop $50 bucks...On donuts.lol. The smells, the courteous and very friendly owners and considering my previous visits... Fresh and delicious fritters and high quality products were practically irresistible! I was offered a preorder of Vday donuts and after being shown pictures of what they were supposed to look like..I jumped on it. The romance of the smells in there and the design also the variety of the donuts had me hooked and I was really looking forward to them being the star of our homes V-day celebration! I was told to pick up my PRE-ORDER anytime after 7 or 8 am of Valentines' day. And so I did. I walked in. People were standing around. Pretty much sold out of donuts and a waiting crowd. I am thinking, "dang, Im glad i preordered! lucky me!" NOT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!! I was promptly handed a box of my donuts. I was pumped...I had bragged this place up to family and friends and everyone was looking forward to enjoying a delicious donut for a nice treat..on me! lol. I didn't take any pictures..I was devastated. They seemed to be day old donuts. Cake donuts mostly. Not moist at all. decorations a 3 year old could have done. In store its just a touch over $15 bucks for a dozen. I PAID IN ADVANCE FOR $20!!!!!! And A Tip of $5 bucks because the smiles and personalities of the two in there running the store..won me over. It's hard not to take it personal. When I was offered without asking mind you, " Would you like to jump on our pre-order of Valentine's day donuts!" and, "Here's what they will look like!" I got excited! Over donuts..lmbo. They looked so nice. Every other experience was awesome. Nice people. In reality.. I was an afterthought and received unacceptable product. When 3 days later...sadly I threw out what was left. Over half dozen.. i took a bite off a couple of them... and I was too embarrassed to call them and complain. I Guess It is a sign my business isn't welcomed there. Maybe they just grabbed out of the leftover donuts for reasons I may never know. It surely affected the rest of my day. And makes me think twice about the next time pre-order anything. I don't know if anyone is even reading this. Its hopefully just a single incident..but im still bummed out close to a month later when I think about it. Can't go back to my favorite all time donut shop. Dang......... Update; after the response I received from the Just Donuts folks, I changed my stars back.Your donuts are my absolute favorite ever. Best in town…by far. Knowing now it was Just Donuts' first year for preordering Valentine's donuts helps me understand what the situation was about. Mistakes are going to be made. I hope this is something you can fine tune and continue this coming year. Your donuts are the best. I am feeling much better now about the situation. I want to be a customer again. And since you're offering, I would love to accept a dozen, best in town...
Read moreThis is a nice little nugget stashed away in a small town of Franklin NC at the end of town. Stopped in one late morning and picked up a maple bacon donut and was immediately confident I would return for a second visit during our vacation I the Smokies. Second visit my wife and I got there earlier and picked up a few items, apple fritter, maple bacon of course, cream cheese cinnamon roll, pumpkin cheese cake and a breakfast bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant donut. Enjoyed everything there in the quaint little sitting they have. I will say I've had better apple fritters where the apples are baked in but it was still delicious. The owner informed me of a hungry man sandwich that a re-occurring patron gets. Cinnamon roll with double egg meat and cheese. I'm totally and without doubt revisiting to get that b/c I love super special items that local restaurants come up with. Overall it was an awesome experience and the staff was super nice as you would expect from the small southern area like Franklin.
Follow up visit 9/5/2025 Came back on Friday for the highly recommended hungry man sandwich. I ordered this on a cinnamon roll with double meat (bacon and sausage), double egg and double cheese. It's a pretty sizable sandwich. The sweet and savory combo is great and my kryptonite. It was all I needed for breakfast along with an Americano. Pricing for this sandwich is ridiculous at $7.99 and may have an uncharge for the cinnamon roll, but I wouldn't have cared. But pretty sure it was only $7.99. My wife got the sausage and gravy biscuits we heard another patron from the previous day rave about. She enjoyed them and said they were exactly how sausage and gravy should be. She likes it with lots of pepper but she forgot, but regardless loved this over a previous experience at another restaurant. While there they were rotating customers in consistently which is always a good sign.
Overall, excellent place to get your donuts, sugary fix in the morning or a savory plate. Great value for the price. The location is easily accessible. The staff is 100%. Recognizing and acknowledging previous customers, even those that aren't local, is a big "CHECK Mark" in the customer service category. Thanks for the great experience.
Always shop local and support your local businesses. They are generally better in...

They also have excellent breakfast sandwiches and coffee! I was up visiting my mom and she suggested this establishment. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing, far better than my usual grub from Dunkin. I ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel, it was perfection. The egg filled the whole bagel, just the right amount of cheese, and the bagel was delicious.
Donut selection was quite good, even after showing up later in the morning. We grabbed a dozen. The apple cinnamon was my favorite. My mom said the salted caramel was fantastic and my wife said the glazed was the best donut she's eaten in over a decade. We enjoyed our experience so much, we came back the next morning before heading home. We ordered 2 dozen donuts, 4 breakfast sandwiches, 1 Coke and a coffee, total came out to $62 after taxes. Which we thought was great value. If you want the very best selection of donuts, they open at 6:30am. If you don't have time to get down there, they are on Door Dash!
Their building was pretty cool. Had the old school Main Street charm. An old building with the creaky floors and cool ceilings. Opening the door rang a bell and it just added to the excellent experience overall. Staff was attentive and helpful. They offer a discount for first responders/military though I usually forget to ask, another person had come in and used it as I was leaving. The man working the register said I'd be back, he...
