I had such a cute experience at Triple Crown Bakery in Franklin. I was super surprised to stumble upon it while my husband and I were having a Sunday afternoon date. This place makes you feel like you're stepping back into the Alice in Wonderland tea party. The space is whimsical and nestled into a home from the late 1800s/early 1900s. There is porch seating along with a small seating area in the room next to the bakery.
A line does form out the door. It was really busy when we were there, but the line moves fast. All of their items are made in-house, and what they have is set on display for your choosing. They have a ton of assorted desserts from fruit tarts and cookies to tiramisu. Really, anyone can find something they'd like in here.
The service was nice. They were quick in delivery to keep the line moving without being pushy. They were also great at answering any questions the customers had.
For the social influencer, this would be a cute backdrop for a mini photo shoot. It is so cute! I just love it. I had to snap a photo in front of the...
Read moreThis bakery has the BEST strawberry shortcake that I’ve ever tried. I’ve been back several times and share with other people each time and have had no complaints. When I brought my daughter home one the first time she said “where did this come from, Heaven?” Lol Her next question was “do I have to share with you?” Lol (She didn’t but boy did I want her to!) Every time I’ve been to this shop it looks so welcoming and the atmosphere is gorgeous! I’m thinking of have tea time and tea cakes with my daughter soon just for the ambiance. I’ve also been greeted with such friendly service no matter what! I’ve been dressed in a t-shirt and shorts to a cute dress and heels and have felt welcomed each time (not all the Franklin stores around or off the square make you feel as comfortable), so thank you! You all have easily become one of my favorite places to go to for desserts! I will gladly spend my money and drive the 45 mins to get that strawberry shortcake!...
Read moreThis bakery is DREAMY! There is something for everyone here - including those who are gluten free. I have never been a croissant girl until I tried one here - they are out of this world. Not to mention, it is the cutest place. It has such a wonderful and delicate atmosphere - the inside is a vintage tea room vibe and the outside has spacious seating with antique furniture.
Their coffee with whipped cream is also delightful and I was there when someone from England came in for tea and biscuits - they were raving about how it felt like home! I'd love to try their tea service sometime as it seems very well done and I've had friends brag about it.
If you're looking for treats for your gluten free friends, this spot got rave reviews. I picked out 4 gluten free pastries/desserts for a gluten sensitive friend who had just given birth and she LOVED them. Her gluten tolerant husband even...
