Top Poke Bowl & Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Franklin

Worst experience I ever had!!! We usually go here because I like the food. But today I had the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. I felt so insulted by the lady owner. First of all, I ordered a couple items (one poke bowl togo and 1 ice cream dine in). Ice cream comes with toppings and the owner(the lady woking there) she didnt ask for my choice of toppings. A few minutes later I realized it and ran to her and stood infront of her as she is making my ice cream. I tried calling her like 2-3 times, she wasn't responding and not even trying to make eye contact, just looking away from me. I patiently waited, I didn't take her wrong, still somehow thinking she might not have heard me (but honestly, who wouldn't even care to look up at the person coming over standing infront of you, atleast when you know there is no one else apart from you both). After a minute of making me stand infront of her and 2-3 times of calling she just looked at me and I told her my choice of toppings. She was even hesitating to simply say ok, I still didn't take her wrong (coz I knew she heard and thats all mattered to me). Finally my 2 orders arrived. We were 2 people and usually eat very less portion at a time, so I asked for 1 togo order thinking we wouldn't finish it (we usually never finish). So we sat down to eat as much as we could and the lady started to watch us and walked to and fro beside our table. I noticed it but still didnt see anything wrong coz what's the big deal, after all its her place(or she might be an employee, idk for sure). Finally somehow we finished eating the entire poke bowl. So we collected all the garbage in the togo bag she gave us. We stood up and about to walk towards the trash bin. She immediatley uttered in a rude demeanor "GIVE ME THE BAG" at us. We were stunned at her words and opened to show there is nothing but garbage. She continued rudely saying we asked for a togo and wasted her bag and spoon and why do we even ask for a togo when we have plans of eating here only to waste her resources and all. I felt utterly embarrassed and humiliated. But all the way as she was yelling and lecturing us, all I could do is politely smile and say ok ok ok. I came out and started thinking why she was so mad at us (may be bcoz we asked for a couple of extra spoons?, idk) and then realized how she had been behaving with us right from the moment we started to order. I also realized she yelled at us knowing that the cafe is empty and there are no other customers to watch her ugly side. I can still understand her frustration about her resources getting wasted. But I was there only making her business, I promoted her cafe in my friends group saying they had good food (I myself took my friends over there several times). She could have politely asked us not to waste their resources and be conscious next time. She woould have gained my respect. But now I am never going back, I will not even let my friends go there. I will never recommend it to anyone else. She ruined the rest of the day for me with her rudeness. I usually don't write reviews expect when I like or dislike extremely. But this time I want to share this to remind everyone that kindness goes a long way. Most importantly businesses like this survive on politeness and friendliness more than the taste of the food, coz respect is what...

Perfect blend of healthy and DELICIOUS!!

Note - signs said delivery available thru grubhub and delivery dudes. Food pictured had grilled salmon and grilled tuna, edamame, cilantro, fried wonton crisps, on a bed of greens and rice.

I happened to go at a time when no one else was there, 11:30 on a Sunday. They were very courteous and friendly. And happily helped me with recommendations for my bowl when asked bc Id never been before. 5 minutes or less wait for my food. Very quick!

$11 for a bowl with 3 proteins and 5 toppings and 2 sauces ($13 for 3 protein choices) I ordered a grilled salmon nand grilled tuna ($1 extra but WELL worth it!). And was very excited to see organic salad greens as a base option, (several others available) which lived up to my exacting salad standards of seeing nothing wilted or brown. With red cabbage, onions, edamame and cilantro. (Forgot my 5th item.) Tried 3 sauces - teriyaki on the salad. Amazing!! Perfect teriyaki taste. And a yummy yum - a creamy, slightly sweet sauce. And a delicious wasabi sauce - which had a mild to moderate wasabi flavor (definitely present, but not unpleasant) in a delicious soy sauce blend.

HEAVEN!!!!! Perfectly grilled and seasoned. Everything seemed fresh and very tasty. Good sized bowl.

Also, they had hung a plastic barrier between the kitchen area and seating area. With a tiny (few inches gap) at the bottom to just be able to pass the menu and credit card back and forth. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I just came down here because I am door dashing. For one, I waited forever for the door dash order, longer than I ever have. But, I seen they had my favorite boba that I get weekly at other places. I figured id try one here since ive never been. I do reviews for a living and ive never really had a bad one, until now. I went too order my brown sugar boba tea as normal and told the lady that I would like extra brown sugar, and.... I didnt even get too finish before she started her "no no no no, you cannot have. It comes how it is no extras". I told her I did not care too pay for the extra. She still said no. I always order extra brown sugar, and an extra scoop of boba and I have never in my life been denied having a drink made the way I like it. So guys, if you want a boring normal boba drink and rude customer service THIS IS THE PLACE! I will be including this on my tik tok, Instagram, and Facebook page also. Business owners, beware.
