It's been a year since I've been here, the ice cream was mediocre, had 1 dairy-free option. I let the kiddo order their own ice cream and the employee helping us out was extremely kind and helpful. At first I thought she was working alone. There was no one else eating or ordering either. We sat inside - kiddo managed to get the largest cup option and (due to being a child) they dropped it upside down on the ground. I took them back to the counter to ask if we could try again. Most places give a free replacement for dropped ice cream, but I didn't ask for this and was willing to pay. She said she would get the manager to help, but seemed on edge. She went to the back, and after maybe a minute went by I heard a man angrily yelling at her. I heard banging sounds and I started considering calling the cops. It was pretty bad and it went on for almost 5 minutes. I kept psyching myself out, thinking maybe it's just loud back there. I cleaned the ice cream off the floor with the tiny napkins, which weren't absorbing anything. Thought about leaving, but kid would've been very upset and I didn't want anything to cause further escalation. Eventually the manager came out all smiles and rainbows and started talking to us. The girl came out crying, made a new cup and mopped the floor. The manager kept telling kid they better eat their entire cup and asked a bunch of weird creepy questions and I had to tell kid not to answer. (dont ask kids where they live and go to school?) Eventually corralled the kid to a table outside and they didn't feel well anymore so we threw out the cup. I started wiping the table down and the manager came out to ask if they ate the whole thing. To which is replied yes and took kiddo to the car and left. What the heck? I can't go back here. It's too weird.
A response: as per my review, this was not within this week. 2nd, i don't have the wrong store. It's bold to claim not to have any staff matching the description I gave, seeing as all I described was a nice female cashier and a man with more authority, who became...
Read moreThis is one of the worst ColdStone I’ve ever been too. Too much confusion while ordering inside, have to yell at the top of your lungs to be heard, different flavors inside then online. Employees should really wear a hair net and gloves. Same employee that scoops your ice cream and hold your waffle bowl have no gloves on then proceeds to run to register to ring you up, all while touching dirty register then goes back to scooping and touching bowls with dirty cash register/ money hands. The restrooms were out of order and the restaurant was dirty.
This ColdStone also can not make the ice cream right to save their lives…. They don’t follow directions of what the ice cream style calls for and it’s runny, unexceptionable, a mess, not appealing or good, sloppy and low quality. They just do not put any care when making your ice cream. They use too much of something or not enough of an ingredient. I swear it’s just so hard to find good quality these days. Feels like I just stay throwing my money away. I won’t be going back to this location again. These businesses just take zero proud in their...

So, customers are in-line and there are two working behind the counter. One is cleaning and obviously preparing to shutdown for the night. Odd being that it isn't scheduled to close for another two hours. The other is trying to scoop ice cream and run the register. Hmmmmm it didn't seem right that cleaning took precedence over customers waiting in line.
Then this happened....
I've never heard of this excuse before from any ice cream establishment... " we can't mix a kids cup with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups because the ice cream would melt......but I can do it with a small cup.). I asked twice just to be sure she knew what she was saying, and she said it would melt from the time a scoop was removed from the ice cream container to the mixing spot while...
