Authentic juicy delicious Chicago-Italian-Beef-Sandwiches and Chicago Deep-Dish and Thin-Crust Pizza!

If you’ve ever seen the delicious food shown on The Bear, or even better if you’ve had the food recommended by Everyone in Chicago, then like me, you have been searching Maryland for authentic Chicago-Italian-Beef-Sandwiches! * (I’m a little excited here ;-) These are NOT Philly cheese-steaks … Please, no cheese on these! No fresh-“salad” on the sandwich! No onions! And these are not French-Dip … These have better seasoning and softer bread. These are made with very-thin-sliced beef (imported from Chicago :-), just thick enough not to fall apart when slowly simmered in delicious seasonings including the tiniest trace of hot spices. The Italian roll is soft to drink up lots of juice, or to soak in juice if you order it “wet”, which is a Chicago thing. The bread just has to hold together for as long as you are holding on. This place makes it savory and perfectly, and the manager happily gave us additional juice on the side. I love this sandwich with softly simmered “sweet” green peppers, or you can get with “hot” giardiniera mixed pickled veggies, either one is authentic, and this place uses the Rosati’s brand which has a nice kick to it. I got it with a side of fresh hot thick-enough crispy fries, like i used to have at Johnnies west-of-Chicago. It’s a filling 6-inch sandwich. This is heavenly!

This is the branch of Rosati’s that makes it’s pizza-sauce fresh on-site, and uses delicious crust and sausage brought in from Chicago. I brought home a frozen deep-dish pizza. Dinner tonight!

This storefront is 0.2-miles east of US-15, off 7th Street at Fairview. It’s in the middle along the east of the large parking lot. This place is sparkling clean. There are two tables totaling four seats, for dining in the restaurant, which we did. There’s a coin-operated candy machine for a handful of skittles or m&m’s. I don’t understand these 1 star reviews. They almost made me not order tonight but I’m glad I ignored them. This pizza was amazing! We ordered a 14” deep dish and a 10” stuffed pizza to try both. I couldn’t say which one I liked more; they both have their merits. If you like a thick buttery crust filled with lots of cheese and chunky tomato sauce then go with the deep dish. If you like a pie like kind of pizza (think of a calzone but in slice form) with a smooth tomato sauce on top of the second layer of crust then go with the stuffed pizza. We also ordered their wings which my sister in law stated she’s going there specifically for wings tomorrow thanks to how big and spicy they were haha! In the end, we probably will order only a 10” stuffed pizza or 10” deep dish in the future. There was only three of us and it was waaayy too much food. One pizza would’ve sufficed but we were excited there was Chicago style pizza in town and wanted to try both offerings. They have thin crust too but really... who gets thin crust for Chicago style pizza? Side note, some people complain about the wait so maybe our experience was different because we scheduled our order. If you order online you can schedule it in advance. I ordered it at 1 PM to be delivered at 7:45 PM. They arrived at 7:30 (which is perfectly fine in my book) and the pizza was piping hot like it just came out the oven. Our family absolutely loves Rosati’s! We have ordered for pick up many times. They have great deals, the staff is nice & the food is always amazing. Our favorite go-to pizza besides cheese pizza that we typically order is the pepperoni, sausage & cheese pizza. We ordered catering for the first time last weekend and we are beyond happy with how everything turned out. They delivered all the food which was so helpful. Dave is such a nice, honest & genuine guy who is such a pleasure to work with. He helped me figure out how much food we should order based upon the amount of guests we were having at the party. He was so patient with me. Dave even called the day after the party just to check in and see how everything went. His customer service & genuine care speaks volumes! All of our guests went on and on about how delicious all of the food was (even my family from northern NJ who can be tough critics.) Their ranch was also a big hit as many people told me it was the best ranch ever. We will definitely be ordering from them again. I highly recommend ordering from Rosati’s when you don’t feel like cooking & especially when you have an event to be catered. You won’t be disappointed! For our party we had 2 cheese pizzas, penne broccoli, chicken parmesan, lasagna, chicken tenders, fries, and Italian house salad. The pasta meals came with yummy garlic bread.
