Starbucks — Restaurant in Frederick

I recently moved to the area and find myself visiting this Starbucks almost daily, typically in the early morning on my way to work. The service here is usually quick and accurate. I can only remember two times when my order had an issue. Once, my shaken espresso had an odd fruity flavor and was watered down, making it unpleasant to drink, so I had to discard it. There was also a time when my oatmeal was overlooked, but these problems are minor and easily resolved. Overall, this location is excellent compared to others I've been to. At a different Starbucks, my drink was often made incorrectly, and on my last visit, I received a drink with chunks in it. The staff told me, "It's just the milk separating," which suggested the milk was spoiled. That was a disappointing experience. In contrast, this location is a significant improvement. This is our favorite Starbucks location in Frederick and we really only order drinks (I can't speak on the food). The service is great and the baristas are talented. We always know that our drinks are going to top notch when we visit. It's to the point now where some of the staff recognize us and our order and we always appreciate that. I once ordered a drink to try for the first time and our cashier reassured me to let her know if I didn't like it so they could make something I'd enjoy. I know it's kind of implied in this industry but it's always nice to be reminded that they'd take care of it if the experience wasn't great. The location can be a bit of a challenge to get to or exit depending on which direction you're coming from. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have lived in Frederick for 3 years and this is the closest Starbucks to my house. I go at least 2-3 times a week. This Starbucks does a horrible job in all aspects. Drinks are made wrong, orders are missed and they “can’t find them”, staff could care less that you are waiting 10 min past your quoted pick up time. I understand being busy but this place is constantly slammed, and the staff do not know how to manage the volume. They clearly need better management. My drink constantly is over filled and leaks out the top. I literally order a grande coffee and they will find a way to mess it up. I see 3 baristas standing around doing nothing while 2 are actually making the coffees. They need to step up their game.
