Update: 10/24/2022 - Central Park Cracker Barrel - 11am So we decided to do 'brunch' at the barrel today. I decided to try out the beans and greens, for 8.20$ + tax/tip; which unfortunately turned into the worst meal I have gotten there to date (over 30 year relationship). First of all, 10 bucks for 25 cents of beans and 25 cents of greens ... none of the accoutrements mentioned description, and it would have been even worse if there wasnt biscuits and muffins at the table. Pancakes were, as expected, fantastic. Our 4 star server dropped the ball big time on being my voice in the kitchen and barely performed the most basic of service functions. No silverware, coffee refills were sparse, items missing from the food ... some of this is easily overlooked if it were busy, which it wasn't. Furthermore, it seemed like she did not speak English very well. I don't think I will be visiting that Cracker Barrel anymore, and will prob think twice about other locations. End of a wonderful era, but that's just the lifecycle ... something new will fill its place, have a good run at it and then slowly bleed out until it gets renovated or dozed for something new. Been awhile, always loved Cracker Barrel, ever since i worked there back in the 90s. I suspect it is ran about the same, but when i worked there it was by far the cleanest, best food rotation system, almost everything was prepared in the back, best run restaurant ive ever worked in. Fast forward to today, Jaden was our server, and she was excellent. Surprised by the adult libation selection, got a mimosa. Ordered the blueberry pancakes, I dont know of a place that serves better cooked/tasting pancakes, and they were amazing today. got a side of HBR (hash brown casserole). Also ordered was the grandmas special, with sugar cured ham. 10/5! delightful breakfast. As expected, it was busy, we had to wait about 10 min to get seated, but there is plenty of things to distract while you wait, or just chill on the deck in a rocker.

5 Star Service from the moment that I walked in. The Host, Joseph, is a young man that spoke to me from the heart. He made me feel very welcomed. Oscar, the manager, came right up to my table and engaged in the friendliest conversation and his smile is a keeper. Then, Lisa is a beautiful and and caring waitress who continued to exude what Great Restaurant Service is all about. Thank you so much! After a long day at work, I could not even have imagined that this would be have been the finishing touch. Dinner was delicious and reminded me of being back in time at my Nanny's Home. Chicken and Dumplings, Corn, Turnip Greens, Fried Apples, and Biscuits with Blackberry and Strawberry Preserves and Creamed Butter. Compliments to the kitchen that is doing their very best. Back again tonight! Excellent Management radiates throughout another superb family dining experience. Joseph is still doing his best, as always. Our waitress, Jillian, was the Star Team player. She is Down To Earth Kind and Lovable. The entire family enjoyed her manner and efficient service. We sincerely thank you! The Food was Delicious. Shout Out to the Back Of The House! You are doing Extraordinary Work! The Gift Shop also deserves credit. So many beautiful items which are exquisite and presented perfectly. We will return to the shop and buy some gifts. Gratitude To All..

Late breakfast. The place was clean and the staff attentive. All of our breakfast meal items were very good. The gravy for the biscuits was a little weak and could use more seasoning and sausage. One little bottle of pancake syrup for 2 pancakes doesn't cut it. You need two so ask in advance. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

Ordered to go. Arrived when it was supposed to be ready and paid bill. Waitress from kitchen said the lost/misplaced the order. Waited 15 minutes. Food came out. Was missing 2 orders of okra, 3 apple butters and biscuits. Another waitress came out, stood in front of me and just stared at me for 8-10 seconds without saying anything word. I said "may I help you?" She said "someone needed help with to go order." Cashier spoke up and said that it was missing items. I told the waitress what was missing. She didn't say a word, turned and left. 15 minutes later a kitchen manager came out and gave me ONE okra. I told her I needed one more, 3 apple butters and biscuits. She didn't say a word, turned and left. Cashier saw my frustration so SHE went to kitchen and got the biscuits for me. Another 10 minutes went by. The second waitress came out with the last okra and 3 apple butters, sat them on the counter by my order, turned and left without saying a word. I said "thank you" loudly and sarcastically. The Cashier asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. I said "will it take another 30-40 minutes?" She said no, they'll come right out. One minute later a manager comes out and doesn't say a word but instead is reviewing my receipt. I asked "what is looking at my receipt going to accomplish?" He "apologizes" and says "what's tge issue?" He should have started with that. I proceed to tell him what transpired over the last 40 minutes. He responded with "well I'm the front line manager but I'll go to the kitchen and tell them what happened." So, the manager just tried passing the buck. Why didn't one of the kitchen managers come out? Just wasted more of my time. I told him to go to the back and tell them that they need to do a better job all the way around.

FYI, when I paid for the meal, which was IN tge system, I left a $5 tip. I know that the waitresses preparing the order normally get shafted and don't get a tip. However, working in the restaurant industry for a couple years myself, I know they deserve a tip. However, I wish I could have taken that tip back. Im not paying for to go orders until I have my complete order in hand.

We love our experiences when we dine in but the take out process is severely lacking in efficiency and customer service.

FYI, the gentleman waiting for his to go order before me was quite upset as well. Apparently he waiting a long time for his order and they forgot the biscuits and cornbread. The waitress said it would be a 30 minute wait. He did not wait, as he was walking out he said that he would not be returning to this restaurant.

If you made it this far, great. Live by this motto and everyone will be happy. "Be honest, do your job and do it Well." Dont just show up to work to collect a paycheck. Do...

We had a party of six. Half of us wanted to eat here and the other have did not. Against half of our better judgement, we obliged and decided to eat here. We got there and walked up to the check in podium. Have our information and we got an estimated wait time of 25 minutes. We had no problem with that. Ten minutes into our 25 minute wait, we received a text stating our wait was increased by 10 minutes. Again, we had no problem with that. As the 35 minutes pass, we hear nothing else. Parties with similar or more members were called before us. Around the 45 minute mark we told the person at the podium how long we had been waiting and they told us we would be the next big party called. That was a lie. They kept calling more parties with similar or more members that arrived to the restaurant long after we did. At the one hour and ten minute mark, we were finally seated. Our table was still so we asked someone to come and clean the table for us. It took about 10 minutes after that for our server to finally come to our table. She came with an attitude, took our drink order and left. We sat there for another 10 minutes and our drinks were brought out. She takes our order and really wasn't helpful with what comes with the meals. She leaves for another 25 minutes. All of our drinks are gone. We see her go to other tables and lock eyes with us as she is going to other tables but she failed to come to our table. One of our party members calls her from across the area to refill our drinks. She does not come to our table. She screams back from across the area, "Refill all of them?" We say yes and she turns and heads to the kitchen. At this point we are very frustrated with this experience and her lack of service. We see a manager standing around the front of the kitchen so one of our party members goes to grab her and bring her to our table. We tell her we just want to pay for our drinks and leave. At this point we have been waiting 2 hours to eat and have not even received an apologetic sentiment as for how long we had to wait for our table or our server not coming to serve us. Worst experience of my life. I will never come back to a Cracker Barrel, especially this one,...

Service for our group was outstanding!! Shout out to Chloe & Alexia you guys did amazing with a HORRIBLE kitchen staff and a weasel of a manager who wouldn't even come out and talk to us.

Our group of 17 went to celebrate a birthday tonight. We knew going it would be busy and hectic the night before Thanksgiving. Sadly after our experience we will likely never return to that location after tonight.

After ordering drinks and then food, the ladies were smart and split our table in half to divide and conquer, we waited 35-45 minutes for our first dinners to arrive. 8 meals came out, mostly cold and incorrectly cooked. After another 15-20 minutes another 6 more cold dinners arrived, one of which was the baby, who was way past dinner time. After another few minutes the final 3, of which one was the birthday girl, arrived again cold and over cooked.

The servers were very apologetic and even went to the manager to let him know what was going on. He told them to offer us dessert, but never came to our table.

Throughout the evening I observed him and his actions in the restaurant, he stood by the kitchen entrance and occasionally ran a pie or to go order to the front store/registers. Never helping the staff just standing there.

At the end of the night I requested to speak to him in the store. He told the server he was working on the line and didn't have time. At this point it was almost closing.

As a manager, if you had staff call out, not show up or just short staffed because of the holiday; Why weren't you on the line cooking when the big order came in? Why weren't you helping your kitchen staff? Better yet, aren't you the manager? YOU sir should have owned what happened and made apologies. YOU sir instead were a coward and hid in the kitchen because you watched what happened and allowed a horrible experience to happen.

Best of luck to you sir. I hope that the servers in your establishment only have to do their job moving forward and not yours.

Chloe and Alexia again you were amazing and did a wonderful job. Thank you for...
