I have stayed at numerous Hampton Inn & Suites over the last few years, and I have to say, the experience at this hotel was top notch. We (me, and my twin 8 year olds) were traveling a distance and due to multiple traffic issues, ended up arriving after midnight. Selena Coltrain was working and got us checked in quicky. Despite the late hour, she gave us a warm and friendly welcome. She noticed my tired children and after confirming it was okay with me, offered them each a snack. My daughter said yes, but my son ( who isn't a cookie or chip fan) politely said no thank you, and she asked if he would like a piece of fruit or something else instead. She returned with two yogurt cups, asked my son of he wanted one of those to which he said yes. She also gave one to my daughter (who at that point started to ask for one as well- Selena smiled and mentioned she thought she may want one too, so she had brought the second one for her). My kids wanted to talk with her for a few minutes and she engaged in their conversation, taking interest in what they were excited to share Her caring attitude, kindness and friendly demeanor made us feel like family. One of our room keys wasn't working and since we needed to run back to our car, my son stopped at the front desk to let her know. She offered to re-make the key, with a smile on her face. Selena has great people skills and customer service skills. The lady at check out this morning was also super sweet and friendly- I wish I had caught her name as well! This was also one of the better breakfasts I've had at a Hampton. Well stocked and everything was fresh. Breakfast staff was amazing as well! We will definitely stay at this location on our next trip through the area! (Sidenote, we made it to our destination (PA) where we are staying at another Hampton inn. Unfortunately, our experience at the PA location was the exact opposite. Can you please share Selena as a trainer for some of the other locations??? :) ) Looking forward to our next...
Read moreThis is a great stopover while you're traveling. The place is clean and our room was beautiful, large and in perfect condition.
We stayed in a king size bed room. It features a wet bar with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. There's a desk with an office chair and a comfortable couch in addition to the bed. The large, flat-screen television has HD channels and includes HBO. The shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water.
The room was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion and mouthwash. There were plenty of towels too. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were high quality. There was an extra blanket in the closet. If you need any other essentials, like a toothbrush or razor, they will provide it at no extra cost.
There was a full complimentary, hot breakfast in the morning and they had hot chocolate available in the evening. At check-in, they gave me a bag with 2 bottles of water. There's a pool which we didn't use. There's also free wifi with a very strong signal and fast speeds.
The staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived around 8pm so I'm not sure of the check-in time, however check-out is 12 noon. I booked it on my phone as we were driving into the parking lot. Including all taxes and fees, I still paid less than $150 which is a lot less than I'd expect for the size of our room and the quality of the amenities.
I definitely...
Read moreHad a reservation to stay on 7/31/2025. Upon walking in around 10:45pm, we were greeted by the staff member at the front desk with absolutely no charisma, personality or hospitality. She did not make eye contact or any means of positive body language. We felt that we were a burden and a hassle. I don’t know if she was ready to go home for the 11 o’clock shift change or possibly had an awful day. However, there was no need to take it out on us. It felt like we were a HUGE inconvenience to be staying there even though we had an already paid reservation. Fast forward to the next day when we partook in the breakfast offerings. The amount of staff members that came to indulge and go in and out of the kitchen with enormous amounts of food without washing their hands was off putting. It seemed like they were all on break and were having a party. I wondered if the manager on duty was aware or had an inkling of what was happening to the food and unsanitary behaviors. Lastly, upon check out, we asked for a copy of the bill to which we were told “oh, since you booked through a third party, we can’t give you anything. You have to get it from them.” So how will the hotel even know I checked out and not acquire any additional charges? That didn’t make any...
